I am in Trouble for A7ii + Lens Selection in the moment.. I already decided to Get A7ii + Canon 17-40f4 with ( may be Commlite Adapter ) for wide angle and general use. and one 85mm Portrait & Lowlight lens. I already Have Sigma 85mmf1.4 (Amount) but No LA-EA 3 adapter yet.So possible solutions for me are 1. Sell My sigma 85(A), Get Sigma 85(Canon) (same price, abit troublesome) to just use with commlite. 2. Sell Sigma 85(A) and Get Metabones instead of Commlite and Get Canon 85mmf1.8. 3....
Hello everyone, Hope you are well. I am looking into replacing my Nikon 85mm f/1.8G with a f1.4 version. The 1.8G is fantastic I know, and very comparable IQ to the f1.4G. But I am having some issues with f/1.8G and would like to change to a f/1.4 lens. Since there is no sign of Sigma 85mm f/1.4 ART, The only two other options I have are Nikon 85mm f/1.4G and Sigma 85mm f/1.4 EX DG. I posted FoCal Aperture Sharpness Test Results for the Sigma 50mm f1.4 and Sigma 85mm f1.4 (both Nikon mount) in the Third Party Lens Talk forum, but didn't get any replies or feedback.
