So Nikon have a great system with the Z mount and particularly the 24-70 F4. I currently have a D7000 and am thinking of upgrading. I have the non OS Sigma 150mm macro, I can find that it "doesn't work" on the FTZ adapter by searching the internet but what does that actually mean? It has an aperture tab like my AF-S and AF-D lenses. Can I manual focus and still have aperture control? If so good I mostly MF in macro anyway so no great loss. If doesn't work means I can't control the lens at all...

Helping my dad upgrade from his Canon 70D + EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM. He wants better IQ. His job has a very specific use where he has to hold the camera on one hand and a mirror on the other roughly 50-60cm away. Tripod isn't possible due to the dynamic nature of the positions. Hi, Friends I have bought a used Sigma 150mm 2.8 and it arrived well packed not wear and tear and when it attached the lens to my Nikon d600 it is not working. No Auto focus no Manual focus. the focal length indicator is not moving and it seems to me as if lens is not connected or dead.... but when i press the shutter button i can hear the sound of motor moving inside but Focal length displaying no change..
