Being new to this forum, i would like to say greetings first. I've shot several sigma cameras during the past years, including sigma dp1m, dp3m, dp2x, mostly in monochrome and have always been astounded by the advantage they give over conventional Bayer pattern cameras. However. For the past several months i got hooked on film and now i rarely touch my digitals... Would any of you know if any improvements were made regarding the stuck lens due to broken cable problem many of the original DP s had? I've had one DP1s that became a paper weight this way, but now I want to get a pair of DP1/DP2x cameras and I'm a bit reluctant due to the breakage prospect. Thanks in advance.. DG
In the 6.5 years I have beem a member of DP Review I have started a total of 10 threads spread between the Pentax forum ( I have used Pentax for over 30 years), Sigma forum (I have a DP2X), Printers and Printing, PC quesitons so I am averaging about 1.5 threads per year.
