Have been thinking of a 45mm with 3D for some time. But there is/was also one without 3D. Both lenses the same quality? The 3D one is now $300, rather low for beeing Norway, a good price? Must be awesome with NX500. Even if I got the 30. Been thinking of another camera, some times need EVF. How to get NX30 and at what price? Not used to shop on the net. How do you know what you get... A solid store or maybe here on drp. The alternative is a 3300 for $370, would be very small with the...

Hi, I recently bought a nice NX30 and I'm trying to improve taking pictures now. With mixed results, but a lot of fun. I do run into a problem though: in order to learn as much as possible about exposure, depth of field etc I only use manual shooting mode at the moment. I do set ISO to automatic to avoid to much settings with every picture. When I look at the histogram I often decide that the picture needs some over- or under exposure. According to the manual I can achieve this by pushing the...
Hi, this has probably been asked a lot before, I'm looking for a TTL flash for the NX30, I believe the Metz 44 AF-2 is compatible with Nx cameras, I wondering if it has to be Samsung specific mount or if the Metz 44 AF-2 for Canon/Nikon would work? Or am I stuck with a manual flash like the Yongnuob560 iv?
Hi, i've just bought an NX 30 from a friend. The camera seems quite nice. I wasn't given a manual. When i alter the Exposure Compensation dial the view in the viewfinder doesn't alter ( lighten/darken) like my other mirrorless camera. Is there a setting somewhere that will enable the view to alter ?.
Hi! I own since 1,5 years a Samsung NX30. I've travelled a lot and used it frequently, and overall i'm quite happy with it. 2 reasons that make me think of changing it: somehow bigger as I would prefer while travelling (doubting sometimes if taking it with me or not), and the news about the NX discontinued (not confirmed yet) As it is in perfect conditions, I was thinking on selling it and going for a more compact mirrorless. - Would like: smaller size as NX30, very good IQ (jpeg+video), EVF...
Hello All - To this date I have been very pleased with my NX30 apart from the fact that Samsung has decided to drop it. Recently it has adopted some very strange behaviour around the back panel controls and the display controls. When I am attempting to update any setting the displayed information seems to jump and flicker between menus and settings. Changing the system settings on this camera has become very difficult. Has anyone else seen this problem? Is there a solution? I tried to capture...
Has anyone successfully used a loupe on an NX500 and if so what make? I understand it will limit the use of the touch screen however will give stability on slow shutter speeds and help composition. I would like one that is easy to attach and detach. If one exists that works well I may choose to buy an NX500 rather than an NX30 which is currently my preference in that it has an EVF. Please let me have you experiences or views. Laurie I
I am in process of deciding to replace my faithful NX20 with an NX30. The NX20 is about 4years old and has developed a fault with the PASM control and the DIOPTA adjustment. I had considered moving to the Fuji X system however I do like my Samsung lenses and like the NX30 (if only the NX50 had happened). I do a lot of street photography and the Sammy combination is both discrete and light. I had also considered the NX500 however I'm not sure I can live with no EVF. The key question for me...
I have the NX30 with the 18-55mm, 10mm fisheye, 30mm, 50-200mm and a metz 44 af-1. There are some pretty good prices on the NX1 body right now. My question is: Does it make sense to upgrade to the NX1 given that I have an investment in the Samsung line of lenses or stick with my NX30 and move to a new brand sometime in the future if Samsung is done in the market. I primarily shoot kids sports, wildlife, and family stuff. Thanks.
