Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+
The Galaxy S6 edge+ is an enlarged version of the smaller Galaxy S6 edge. Like its sister model it comes with rounded screen edges that can be swiped for quick access to favorite apps or contacts. In the camera department the S6 edge+ uses the hardware that we have already seen on the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. A 1/2.6-inch 16MP CMOS sensor is combined with a fast F1.9 aperture. The camera is capable of recording 4K video and in video mode the optical image stabilization system is now supported by an improved digital stabilization algorithm.
A new feature lets you live broadcast to Youtube and as before, the camera app comes with slow-motion, fast-motion, selective focus and virtual shot spheric panorama mode. A Pro mode for better access to manual camera control is on board as well but it appears that, like its more compact sister model, the S6 edge does not support Raw capture.
Images can be viewed and composed on 5.7-inch Quad-HD Super-AMOLED display. Like the S6 and S5 edge the new model comes with a metal frame and glass back which unfortunately means the battery cannot be swapped but fast wireless charging that can take the battery from empty to full in approximately two hours should make up for the loss. Unfortunately there is no micro-SD slot either.
