Manufacturer description: The Galaxy S5 Mini is a smaller and slightly downgraded version of Samsung's flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5. The S5 Mini's Super AMOLED display measures 4.5 inches instead of the S5's 5.1 inches which should make the Mini the better option for one-handed operation. But users also have to make do with a 720p resolutions instead of the S5's 1080p Full-HD. Like its bigger brother the Mini uses a quad-core processor but at 1.4 GHz it's clocked slower.
1.5GB RAM and 16GB storage place the S5 Mini firmly in the mid-range bracket of the market but should be enough to run Android 4.4 smoothly and and let you save a decent number of images and videos. The rear camera offers a sensor resolution of 8MP and 1080p video while the front module captures 2.1MP images. The S5 Mini comes with some of the S5's camera software features, such as Shot & More, Virtual Tour Shot and S Studio.
