Hello! I've been reading a lot about Samsung lentes but haven't decided on my next purchase. I currently have the 16-50 f3.5-5.6 zoom and a Rokinon 12mm, which I love. Considering the NX platform is discontinued, this is probably going to be my last pick. A few lenses I'm leaning towards to: 60mm f2.8 at 550 (used) 85mm f1.4 at 720 (used) 45mm  f1.8 at 150 (used) 16-50 f2.0-2.8 S at 850 (used)

Option A: new NX1 + 16-50S + grip + extra battery for 2100 Eur? Option B: new 70D + EF-S 17-55 + grip + extra battery for 1720 eur. About me: I just had my trusty 30D (this should tell you something about how long I keep my cameras) + 17-55 + flash stolen in Amsterdam two weeks ago and would like something to replace it and my (not stolen) video camera (Canon HF-S100) . I want to get something that will last me a while (say 6-8 years or more if it does not break) and am not overly worried...

Based on the NX1 reviews and the latest firmware news I am interested in this camera. My first lens would be the 16-50mm S. My main concern is that while the 16-50mm lens received mainly positive reviews, several reviewers (e.g. slrgear) noticed chromatic aberrations beyond what comparable lenses show. I have been looking at the Samsung forum from time to time, but this topic was either not discussed or I missed it.So, what are your experiences? How much sharpness is lost due to the...

Hello. I currently have a csc based on Sony A7 & Zeiss FE 2470ZA F4. I was wondering if shooting at low ISOs would make a difference (FF vs APS-C). It seems that the NX1 with this lens is a phenomenal imaging piece as the sensor's design is unique for a crop system. I mostly shoot landscapes and some closeups if needs be. I almost never shoot higher than 100 ISO and the 16-50's max aperture meets the constant f/4 of the Zeiss lens. Why thinking the switch? It seems that the NX1 & 16-50 system...

Hello! I'm going to buy Samsung 16-50mm F2-2.8 ED OSS and will use it for portraits mostly on my NX30. Could anybody share some portraits made with this lens (35-50 mm wide open)? Any thoughts about this lenses, is it good choice for portraits or not?

Wouldn't one be better so you can tell your camera exactly what to focus on, and then you can frame your target however you'd like? If I wanted focus on my child's left eye, all the senors around the face light up. How would I know which part it's actually focusing on? I disabled the multiple sensors on mine a while back because I felt like I wasn't comfortable that it wasn't focusing exactly on what I wanted, but now I keep hearing about cameras adding more auto senors.
