I bought the L100 as backup for my Pentax DSLR, mainly to shoot little impromptu movies of my kids. This proved to be a very capable little camera, although the control setup is non-intuitive. All in all a very good little machine, fast and light with great battery life, ability to set manual aperture and shutter (not priority mode however) and a reasonable antishake mode. Must admit this was something of an impulse buy brought on by necessity - got to Heathrow on my way off on holiday and realised I'd left my usual camera at home on charge... So, marched into the tax-free Dixons in T4 and asked for their cheapest camera from a brand I'd actually heard of.
