Hi guys Loooong time reader but my first question here so bare with me please :) I did not have the patience waiting for the GR III and when I got a really good deal on Ricoh GR II in mint condition I just bought it. "Better late than never" as we saying in Norwegian. The last firmware is installed by previous owner. I find that a fully charged battery gives me only 50 images at a time(charging the batteries with an Ebay charger). A little info:-Only using Snap Focus and Autofocus is turned...
I have a fuzzy memory of having the ability to modify curves on a previous Ricoh camera, either in the JPG settings or in post processing RAW files in-camera. Is my memory completely off base? It may have been the GXR. I've been experimenting with the GR II JPG settings and in Prost processing files in-camera. I can adjust levels but not curves. TIA!

Curious whether anyone has experience with both of these cameras. I'm looking for a (somewhat) pocketable camera for street/candid/everyday photography and am debating the GR II vs. the GX85 (probably paired with the panasonic/leica 15mm 1.7). Anyway, it seems pretty obvious that OVERALL, the GX85 is the more capable and feature rich camera, and I'm already in the M4/3 system so that's almost a no-brainer. But my main question is about low light/higher ISO performance. Is the GRII really that...
Hi Everyone. I'm looking for a (relatively) pocketable camera for street/candid/everyday photography and am considering the GR II. However, I'm also trying to compare it to the Panasonic GX85. I'm already a micro four thirds shooter, so am well aware of the limitations (and bonuses) of that system. But curious whether anyone on this forum has any experience with the 2 cameras and can comment on the GR II's low light/high ISO performance. Is it appreciably better? Any other comments about the...
‘Im renting a GR II for a week to see if it’s the camera for me. One test is the ease, or did-ease, of moving images from the GR2 to my iPhone and the Apple Photo library. So I’ve got this rental and for my life I can’t figure out how to activate WiFi. For example the GR2 sometimes shows up in the WiFi list of networks another times it doesn’t. If it does, it asks for a password I don’t have. And I can’t use Xiao Xiao’s app. sorry to bother people but could someone give me step-by-step...
Dear forum I need a new camera, aside my Ricoh GR ii I use for everyday pleasure. I used to own a Nikon D7100 and still have the nice Nikon 50mm F/1.4 lens. I am considering the D750 but for the same money I can get a D7200 and lets say, the Sigma 18-35mm F/1.8 Art lens. I will be using the camera primarily for shooting architecture and furniture as I am an architect but will also use it for children photos etc. I have never used a digital FF but curious towards this camera as the 7200 is...
Hello. We have just bought Ricoh GR II in Hong Kong, camera shop in Times Sq, Causeway Bay. Few hours later we noticed that IMEI on receipt is not exactly the same as serial number on the camera (and the box, and additional Hong Kong one month free warranty service document). IMEI number on receipt and serial number on warranty document are the same, but numbers on the camera and the box have one digit less (they don't have last digit that previous numbers have). So basically, on the camera...
