A simple question. In terms of resolution, can M6 mk2 be better than RP or R6 in consideration of their differences of pixel counts? Lens examples:EFM 32mm or Sigma 30mm and EF 50mm 1.8 or EF 50mm 1.4EFM 11-22mm and 17-40LSigma 56mm and EF 85mm 1.8EFM 22mm and old EF 35mm 2, not 35 ISRokinon 12mm and EF 20mm 2.8 How do you describe the difference between a low-pixel-count FF body with old EF lenses and a higher-pixel-count crop body with its new lenses? Do you think it is a waste to get RP or...

Hello, I have a Canon 6D which is very good. I have some Sigma lenses (150-600 and 70-105). 6D mk2 was not up to the 6D for me, so I kept mine. Now, with the R6, I have a few questions: - is the R6 up to the 6d in terms or image quality? low-light pictures and dynamic range? - can I use my EF Sigma lenses with it? - can I use my speedlite strobes with it? (which I never use with the 6d, low light pictures are so good). Thanks, Ouais

The R5 is a good bit more expensive and also a little heavier compared to the R6. The R5 has ~50% more linear resolution compared to the R6. The R6's 20 MP would be enough for me, basically... as final output resolution. But... since Canon makes really fine super tele lenses (EF 100-400II, probably also the upcoming 100-500) I am asking myself, if the increased resolution of the R5 ("1,5x sensor TC" when cropping in) might be well worth the extra penny. Any experiences from people here with...

Just wondering if there has been any news on the eos r line being continued or discontinued now that the r6 and r5 have been released. Without having heard any news, I would think that the R line will continue just because of the growth of mirrorless.   It seems like there's room but just trying to figure where it fits. I really like what I'm seeing from the r6 but after having the R for over a year I think 30 mp my ideal file size.   Any news or thoughts on this?  Peace!

Debating coming over to Canon. How is the weather sealing of the lenses? (If I switch over I’ll be getting an R6 and I know no reviews are completed yet on the weather sealing of that body). I’m coming from Olympus E-M1 series.

I'm just a hobbyist but I'm also a tech nerd so all this hype about mirrorless cameras has got me interested. But I'm not sure just what about the R6 would let me take better pictures.I get the 4k video but the 30 minute limit means filming my kids weddings isn't possible.Lack of shutter noise is nice but since I'm usually shooting at 600mm in the wild the animals aren't generally bothered by shutter noise since they're so far away.I mostly do animals in nature and landscapes; is there...

I guess it's because the SD cards cannot handle the data rate, right? The sensor should be able to handle it I think. --http://www.flickr.com/photos/zonoskar/
