I just sold my Canon 5Diii that I purchased new when it was first launched. I'm not ready to buy a Canon R5 & R6 as they are pretty pricey. The Canon EOS R has some flaws as well. I have an V-1 Canon 100-400 that's a pretty sharp copy & according to Sony it won't auto focus correctly, due to being a slower lens. Can anyone shine some light on this & what adapter would work the best. Thanks, Randy
Hello everyone, Might be a stupid question, but I'll ask anyway. Has anyone tried to utilize the IBIS in the R6 to get "silky," "smooth," or long shutter speed shots of water without using an ND filter or tripod? Is this possible with the camera and it's IBIS ability?
I want a flash to use with my RP when photographing my guitars. I'm not experienced with flash. I'm mostly shooting in natural light from not more than a few yards, filling in with flash, sometimes directly and sometimes bouncing off walls or ceiling. At the moment I'm using a Yongnuo YN5601V which I bought for either a Pentax K1 or Panasonic G9. I'm finding an awful lot of trial and error getting the right flash level, to the point where I'm sometimes missing the best natural light I presume...

OK... maybe I'm missing something, but I normally shoot in Av or Tv with auto iso. Sometimes I want to change the auto ISO and I use the dial, which works great. However, once you do this, seems like you can't set it back to auto ISO with the dial? On my old camera, just had to keep dialing pat ISO 100 and it would pop into auto ISO. But this doesn't seem to work on R6, it stops at 100. Am I missing something?? As workaround, I've found I can just touch the ISO on the touch screen and it...
Hello everyone, I will be buying a new FF camera and I am looking for the best high ISO performance - will be using it for short night time exposures (astrophotography, single shot, no stacking). I have been looking at the Nikon Z6 - it looks like it is the cleanest at high ISO. Canon R6 looks good too, but the NR it applies to raw files is very problematic. Any other suggestions? Cheers, Jure
I've became my Canon R6 yesterday. The IBIS works fine with my Canon RF lenses and adapted Canon EF lenses. However it won't work with my 3rd party lenses (Samyang AF 85mm RF and adapted Tamron 17-35mm). The IBIS option is not beeing displayed in the camera menu for 3rd party lenses. Do you know, how to fix?
I recently purchased the Canon R6. When I first got the camera I was shooting Raw with no issues. When uploaded to my Windows system the picture was able to be open in Windows photo viewer, Lightroom, And I could see a preview in Windows Explorer. I then switched to CRaw. Now I can't load any pictures or see them. When I look at the photo properties nothing shows. I'm very confused. Does anyone know whats going on? Left Raw - Right CRaw
