Hallo Canon shooters Let me introduce the reason I want to ask you some questions, with hope, they are going to be answered. I think Canon (R6 in particular) is able to solve all my issues as far as fast action/sports shooting for half of the Sony's budget. I am far from starting any war between the systems, but after having read so much about possible solutions I think I know the theory, but need some practical verification. I have been shooting sports/action for many years sticking to APS-C...

So.. here's my first world problem dilemma. I currently use the 24-105 EF with control ring adapter on my R6. I never really liked the performance of this lend on my 6D... seemed to always be kind of soft, and the f4 speed for indoors was always too slow. It seems to do better on the R6 in terms of better focus/sharper - so it is more usable. However, still kind of slow. I do have a great EF 85mm 1.8 and 50mm 1.8 for indoors if I need super fast. I also do own the RF 70-200. 24-105 is a good...

Hello everyone! Before investing in some serious lens, I'd like to test the Canon 50 1.4 on my R6.Is any of you using this combo? Except for the softness of the lens, are the focus problem totally resolved due to the mirrorless system?Thank you! :-)

I saw some messages on pixl.us implying that RawTherapee ART now supports Canon R6. That means it must support CR3 raw format. Is this true? There's no ART package for Linux, as far as I know, and I use darktable anyway, so I'm not gonna compile myself. Thanks for any info.

I have the EOS R6 RF24-105mm with the F4-7.1 IS STM Lens Kit. It does not allow me to enable the multiple exposure setting.  It says not available with the attached lens. I also found in the advanced manual, where it says that not all lenses are supported. However, this is a brand new Canon RF lens (which came with the camera), so I would assume it should be supported. I made sure I wasn't enabling HDR or other options that might conflict. I cannot get multiple exposure to be enabled. I don't...

Has anyone else been able to get their EOS R5 or R6 working with the Webcam Utility on a Mac? The page only lists the R and RP, but I was hoping the R5/R6 would work. I've installed the Webcam Utility, and followed the advice in the forum (i.e. don't have the EOS Utility running, restart the computer, etc). I see the "EOS Webcam Utility Beta" splash screen in hangouts within Chrome, but there's just no feed from my R6. The camera screen flashes back and forth between the picture of the...

I just sold my Canon 5Diii that I purchased new when it was first launched. I'm not ready to buy a Canon R5 & R6 as they are pretty pricey. The Canon EOS R has some flaws as well. I have an V-1 Canon 100-400 that's a pretty sharp copy & according to Sony it won't auto focus correctly, due to being a slower lens. Can anyone shine some light on this & what adapter would work the best.  Thanks, Randy

Hello everyone,  Might be a stupid question, but I'll ask anyway. Has anyone tried to utilize the IBIS in the R6 to get "silky," "smooth," or long shutter speed shots of water without using an ND filter or tripod? Is this possible with the camera and it's IBIS ability?

I want a flash to use with my RP when photographing my guitars. I'm not experienced with flash. I'm mostly shooting in natural light from not more than a few yards, filling in with flash, sometimes directly and sometimes bouncing off walls or ceiling. At the moment I'm using a Yongnuo YN5601V which I bought for either a Pentax K1 or Panasonic G9. I'm finding an awful lot of trial and error getting the right flash level, to the point where I'm sometimes missing the best natural light I presume...
