Ricoh's HD Pentax-DA* 16-50mm F2.8 ED PLM AW is a premium wide-angle zoom for the company's APS-C bodies. It features ED and anomalous glass elements as well as an HD coating to reduce flare and ghosting. The lens uses a "PLM" pulse motor to drive the focus group. The minimum focus distance is 30cm, with a max magnification of 0.24x. The lens features a "quick shift" system to quickly switch between auto and manual focus.
The lens is sealed against dust and moisture, much like the company's DSLRs.
