Ive been using the Canon Connect app for ages, and i know it wont transfer raw files to my iPhone, no matter if i shoot raw or not. Im sure i read that with the M50, or maybe its the new .cr3 format, you can now do this. Can any one confirm this? --Dave.Gallery @http://www.flickr.com/photos/davebass5/Videos @ http://www.vimeo.com/user464364/videos

I got the M50 over the weekend and had a blast the last few days. I have a Leica M240 - but wanted to get something with AF. I looked at the XT-20 as well, but the little EOS seemed like the most compact package. I got it with the 15-45mm and the 22mm lens. My intention is to use it as a JPEG only camera, with high quality pics I can share with my family. I'm not good with menu hunting (hence the Leica), so a couple of questions. Getting very close to buying this after extensive research. No one really mentioned the LCD screen brightness when under extreme sunlight. I assume M6 can handle it since no one is complaining? My issue is I don't want to end up buying M6 then buying the EVF. I might as well get the M50. But if the M6 LCD can combat extreme sunlight then I would be saving a lot of money to buy say the 22mm f2 lens. Any experiences will be appreciated.

In terms of picture quality and other factors? PS I realize the Canon EOS M50 (EOS Kiss M) is mirrorless and the Canon EOS Rebel has a mirror (which can be locked up)

Is it possible to make the focusing area a 3x3 size? One-Point focus is too selective and hence difficult to use. Thanks.

Hi, I'm an amateur photographer, mostly take photos for Instagram with my smartphone. I also have Nikon D3000 + 35mm f/1.8G lens, because i really love portrait + city photography and shallow depth of field. Recently I decided to switch to Canon EOS M platform. I find my Nikon: Too old Too big Too heavy for traveling 50mm equivalent is less flexible than 35mm equivalent Reading through https://www.dpreview.com/articles/2666934640/what-is-equivalence-and-why-should-i-care I understood, that...

I'm aware that Canon's manufacturing is spread out among several Asian countries.  Can anyone tell me in which specific country the Canon M50 is made?
