Pentax Optio 50 is a good example of entry level low-budget camera. It is simple to use, delivers good images and is not expensive. Battery life is really good (I use Energizer 2500 mAh rechargeables). Outdoor pictures are well detailed, as well as indoor photos taken with flash, but sometimes there is a lack of focus in low light conditions. Electric light also makes an impact to white balance. A very good compact camera: very bright and large display, compact size (even if it's not micro camera as canon ixus or pentax s-series), good image quality. Paid 160 euro: a very good camera for all use cheaper then many others! Recomended!!! Problems: No manual control over exposure (it's only possibile over or under exposure but not manual control over aperture or shutter time). No histogram. But for that value...
