Does anyone know for sure what this message means? Obviously the camera cannot display the file (video in this case), but read on to see why I'm confused. I was shooting video on my GH4 and a friend was using her GH3 as a second camera. She has recently acquired it second hand along with the 14-140 zoom and an SD card. The subject was a musical performance being recorded in a studio followed by interviews with the two musicians. To match the GH3 I set my camera to shoot 50mbps 1080p. Towards...
I have the GH4 and the 14 to 140 Lens, I decided to get a Pancake type lens to use in Movie clip mode mostly. My 14 to 140 has all of the bells and whistles so I wonder if someone would suggest a Pancake lens and how many Bells and whistles but image quality is most important (Leica is out of my price range) Thanks in advance for your advice...Jeff

Hello everyone, and thanks to all who reply, I wanted to upgrade my gear for a while and now I can finally afford it. I own a Sigma 18-35 for Canon, so I checked these 2 options; I'm shooting both video and images equally. This is my dilemma: Buying the Canon 80D. or, buying the Panasonic GH4 and the Metabones T Speed Booster XL (which is the more expansive option). Thanks for the help! ;-)
Hi! I'm thinking about buying a new (used) camera. I would mostly use it for video (80%) and occasionally photos (20%). For me full frame sensor is a must so i was thinking about buying a sony a7 or a sony a7 mark II. I know panasonic g7,gh4,sony a6300 ect but i don't need any of them. In our country a used sony a7 mark II would be just as much as a used sony a7 with a new atomos ninja star external recorder. So which one would be better? The sony a7 II without an external recorder or the...
Hi All!I've been lurking silently here for a while, but officially signed up as I'm close to making a purchase on a video set up. After much research, I've decided on the Panasonic G85 which I'll be using exclusively for video (the IBIS was the key feature for me over the GH4 as I plan on doing a fair bit of handheld work, and GH5 seems a bit too expensive for my first dive into video). For lens choices, I've got it narrowed down to 2 options:1. Sigma 18-35 with Speed Booster (I already have...
