Using the GX8 with DXO Optics Pro 11 to process the RAW files however even the maximum thumbnail few on their doesn't show big enough to tell if I nailed focus and it's quite slow to open each one.  Previously on my GH3 I would just use Windows explorer but right now Windows 10 doesn't support GX8 raw files. Looking for a fast program that I can quickly go through each images without waiting 15secs for the photo to load. thanks

Hi, I have a Panasonic Lumix GH3 and im pretty new to cameras. When I move photos from my camera to the computer it takes a long time to load, and very long time if I want to upload to the internet. Are there setup options I can do to my camera to compress or reduce file size of my photos? I never had this issue with my point and shoot. Cheers

I think it's only the GH4 and GH3, and the OMD-EM5 II if you have the extra grip attachment. Is that right or are there more? And are there any that let you get headphone monitoring through the AV port if you have a special cable, like magic lantern can achieve with some Canon models?

I recently bought a Panasonic GH3 and a Rode Videomic Pro, and I noticed that the Rode mic does not fit snugly into the GH3's hot shoe mount. As soon as I move, the mic wobbles, which makes a clattering sound. I was wondering whether anyone else had encountered the same issue, and whether there are ways to tighten the hot shoe mount? Thank you very much in advance for your help!

Hi there! This is going to probably seem like a really silly question but... Why should I buy a Panasonic GH3? I'm an aspiring film student looking for my first camera and was originally looking at the GH3, until I found the gx7. It just seems better in just about every way even though it's primarily a photography camera... am I missing something here? I am aware the gx7 is primarily used for photography but it seems to be better with video as well, I love photography so the fact that it's...

Last night at my regular club meeting I went to use my GH3 and FL500 and the flash would not fire.  Checked the usual culprit (E-shutter), rubbed the contacts with a cloth but all to no avail. I had this problem once before - shortly after visiting White Island (active volcano in NZ) about 14 months ago and believe the corrosive atmosphere probably caused the problem.  (Sister-in-law lost the sole of her shoe....)  A good rub with a little CRC brought it back to life that time and had been...

I'm looking for other people opinions.  Years ago I used to own the GF2 camera and I liked it a lot. When the camera was first released it didn't have the latest camera technology from Panasonic, instead the new camera was still using the 12-megapixel sensor. Months later the G3 came out later with another 16-megapixel sensor from Panasonic and prior to the GF2 release we had the GH2. However, what I loved about the GF2 was it form factor and how well it worked with prime lenses especially...

Hi, I like my GR with and without GW3 converter, but I find the process of attaching the GW3 converter and GH-3 adapter to each other quite bothersome in the field. It just involves too much fiddling with cases/boxes/plastic bags which are used to carry the GH3+GW3 combo. I'd like to carry my  GW-3 +GH-3 combo always attached to each other in a lens pouch and to attach it only when needed. Unfortunately my GH3 came without the rear cap, so the dust from the pouch always finds it way to...

This is a problem with video in FZ300, GX7, GH3. This is not covered in the manuals (I looked - all there is, is a way to *add* date/time stamp to still images, not videos, *after* taking them). I just found out (after many, many videos) that there is a “hidden” date/time stamp embedded in videos taken with FZ300, GX7, GH3 and probably other Panasonic cameras. It does not appear when viewing videos in camera, nor on computer with VLC, Windows Media Player, etc. I first saw it when I used...
