I'm hoping to purchase the Metabones EF to M43 Ultra 0.71x with the Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 for my Panasonic Lumix GH2. The only information I can find on this set up is for the GH4, because the crop factors are so different between both cameras I'm unsure if I will get too much vignetting on the GH2 sensor. GH2 has a crop factor of 1.86 and the GH4 has a crop factor of 2. Any ideas?

I currently have a gh2 and was looking to get a 35mm equivalency lens. They both would seem to have a very similar field of view and similar f/stop with the booster. Anybody have any thoughts on which would be better? Obviously the the build quality is better on Voigtlander, but optically is there a big difference?

I know its not that bad but it absolutely annoys the crap out of me, on both my GX7 and GH2 (and probably all the rest of them) whenever I turn on the camera or switch from viewing an image, it wants to display the time and date rather than the shooting information! do people have a desperate need to know what day it is after viewing an image? I cant seem to find a way to disable it, does anyone know of a setting to turn it off? I know its not a big deal but it's just one of things that just...

I have been thinking of buying the legendary Panasonic 14-45mm for years now. I actually ordered it (used, for $180) from Amazon a few days ago, but I had serious second thoughts and decided to cancel the order today. I already have the 14-42mm that came with my GH2. I know the image quality is not as good, but after re-visiting some old threads, it seems like it's close enough to not warrant the upgrade. I also gave up on the 12-32mm, since it apparently exhibits shutter shock at 32mm under...

My panasonic gx7 (and from my understanding the gh cameras since the gh2) have a feature called constant exposure preview. What this lets you do is have a live update of your exposure in MANUAL mode. Change the shutter speed, iso, or aperture and you see the effect in the evf of lightening or darkening the image and displaying the correct dof. I use manual mode alot on my gx7 with mostly manual glass. I consider this an invaluable feature for quick adjustments and street shooting in manual. I...

Is there a way to tether an E-M1 or GH-4 to an iMac or Macbook Pro so I can use the screen to see the changes (live) that I'm making to aperture and shutter settings....maybe iso as well....maybe other parameters?  Seems this would be a great way to learn how each of these settings have an effect on the possible picture or scene instead of having to take hundreds of images then compare them side by side.  Hope I'm clear in what I'd like to accomplish.  Essentially the computer screen becomes...

It's more or less spring and any day now the ground will thaw and the snow will melt.  Some of the birds are back and one or two things are flowering. Virtually all of my shooting is done outdoors and pretty much in bright light unless I'm in the woods.  I shoot insects, birds, fish (in the water), landscapes, flowers, mushrooms...getting the idea?  I'd like to pick up a medium zoom for my E-M1 and I was leaning towards the 40-150 2.8 but now I'm wondering of the 14-150 II (4.0) should be an...

My GH2 is having a hard time using the manual focus on a few 4/3 lenses. The Olympus Digital 35 mm 1:3.5 macro + the E-500 kit lens won't focus. Any advice? Is there a suggested setting for this to work? Here's the adaptor I have : http://www.ebay.com/itm/171462657800?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I hope to add an Olympus 40-150 f/2.8  to my E-M1 kit in April.  I have firmware ver 2.2 installed on the camera now.  Will this automatically affect the 40-150 lens or do I need to reinstall the firmware (or ver 3.0) with the new lens attached to get the added functions on this lens?
