I have set up my EVF-LCD button to switch between Aperture and Exposure Compensation in the display. There are times when I'd like to go back to the EVF-LCD function, but now I've forgotten how I made the change and I can't find anything in the manual to refresh my memory. Anybody know how? Sorry about having to ask. It's just another senior moment.
Olympus UK have a deal for EM-1 with 12-40 and 40-150 Pro lenses for £2k. I currently have an FZ1000 having had a GH2 previously (it broke following a fall). I like the FZ1000 but I can't get very clean output, I think because it's too light so I have trouble keeping it steady. After reading these forums for weeks, I was trying to decide between EM1 and GX-8. My question is whether I will really notice the difference considering the outlay? My usual photos are family portraits, landscape and...

I'm hoping to purchase the Metabones EF to M43 Ultra 0.71x with the Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 for my Panasonic Lumix GH2. The only information I can find on this set up is for the GH4, because the crop factors are so different between both cameras I'm unsure if I will get too much vignetting on the GH2 sensor. GH2 has a crop factor of 1.86 and the GH4 has a crop factor of 2. Any ideas?

I currently have a gh2 and was looking to get a 35mm equivalency lens. They both would seem to have a very similar field of view and similar f/stop with the booster. Anybody have any thoughts on which would be better? Obviously the the build quality is better on Voigtlander, but optically is there a big difference?

I know its not that bad but it absolutely annoys the crap out of me, on both my GX7 and GH2 (and probably all the rest of them) whenever I turn on the camera or switch from viewing an image, it wants to display the time and date rather than the shooting information! do people have a desperate need to know what day it is after viewing an image? I cant seem to find a way to disable it, does anyone know of a setting to turn it off? I know its not a big deal but it's just one of things that just...
I have been thinking of buying the legendary Panasonic 14-45mm for years now. I actually ordered it (used, for $180) from Amazon a few days ago, but I had serious second thoughts and decided to cancel the order today. I already have the 14-42mm that came with my GH2. I know the image quality is not as good, but after re-visiting some old threads, it seems like it's close enough to not warrant the upgrade. I also gave up on the 12-32mm, since it apparently exhibits shutter shock at 32mm under...
My panasonic gx7 (and from my understanding the gh cameras since the gh2) have a feature called constant exposure preview. What this lets you do is have a live update of your exposure in MANUAL mode. Change the shutter speed, iso, or aperture and you see the effect in the evf of lightening or darkening the image and displaying the correct dof. I use manual mode alot on my gx7 with mostly manual glass. I consider this an invaluable feature for quick adjustments and street shooting in manual. I...
It's in the title really folks. Have a spare GH2, would like to infa red it, am in the UK. Where can I easily and cheaply get that done, anyone know?I hate posting things around, so London would be good. --www.flickr.com/photos/acamhttp://thegentlemansnapper.blogspot.com
Is there a way to tether an E-M1 or GH-4 to an iMac or Macbook Pro so I can use the screen to see the changes (live) that I'm making to aperture and shutter settings....maybe iso as well....maybe other parameters? Seems this would be a great way to learn how each of these settings have an effect on the possible picture or scene instead of having to take hundreds of images then compare them side by side. Hope I'm clear in what I'd like to accomplish. Essentially the computer screen becomes...
