Hi, a quick question. Sorry if this point has perhaps already been discussed. In terms of image quality, which one would you choose? GF3.5/30mm or GF4/32-64mm?
Maybe comparing the zoom at 32mm f/4 and the GF30 at f/4 for comparison with a large aperture and also between f8 and f/16 which is where I should use more.
Thank you very much.

I put the underwater casing on the Panasonic GF3 with the Panasonic 14mm lens but a leak put sea water in the casing. Causing sea water entering the camera and lens. I dismantled all took lens and dried it. Also dried camera. But since I'm on holiday I put back the lens overnight to not get dust in camera sensor. Next morning now I can not dis connect the lens. I press the button but nothing lens won't move. Any suggestions how to remove lens. I don't care much about the camera. The lens is...

Does anyone know if the Panasonic GF3 has a live video hdmi (or perhaps usb) output. I need this functionality to attach a remote picture-only flat panel monitor as a viewfinder. If not the GFS, would a PM1 or something similar work? Small size is important as the camera will be mounted in a very confined area. Incidentally, the Nikon J1 has a live view hdmi output; however, it is not "picture-only" (plus it has a very small sensor) so it wouldn't work for my purposes. Thank you very much.

I shoot landscapes, often in remote places and some travel (streets scenes for memories but not people). And some set piece portraits of my kids. I just bought a GFX50R as looked amazing value. May keep my D810 for action/kids but sold most of my Nikon lenses for it. Definitely keeping my X100T and my iphone for causal walk around/light travel. So what wide prime to buy for the 50R? i don’t want to buy a lot of lenses. I am thinking of GF 45. Or maybe the 30mm. In FF I found Nikon 24mm a...

I'm looking for a simple, cheap bang around camera I could take with me when I don't want to use the GX85 (bike rides, in the car, ect.). I would set it on raw and go.
My main concern is shutter shock. I tried the EPM1 and like the IQ overall but had shots spoiled by the shutter vibrations. Same lenses on my GX85 are sharp even without stabilizing.

14-45 is my first M43 lens which was bought with G1 back in early 2009. It had delivered very consistent result so far on various generation of bodies from G1, GF3, GX1, GX7 and GX85. Fast and accurate AF, IQ never raise alarm bell, unlike the low light wired performance of 12-32, it is an all round player... After upgraded to 12-35 f/2.8, it is generally stayed inside the auto dry cabinet.
IMHO it should be one of my best standard zoom lenses, equally good as 12-35 f/2.8, 14-140 f/3.5 mk-I,...

Hi guys and gals!
I do not know what upgrade path would be good for me right now and would like to seek some thoughts on this. I currently own a GF1 and GF3 (my wife’s) with a kit lens, 20mm 1.7 and 14mm 2.5 pancakes. I’m actually quite happy with my GF1 paired with the 20mm which I shoot 95% of the time (supplemented by my iPhone) right now when I go on holidays but since I’m planning to shoot some engagement shots of myself and my wife (registered but no ceremony yet), I plan on getting a...

There's so many models out there, and no reliable naming convention to know if they're Micro Four Thirds (MFT) I am somewhat lost...
One thing I can say, I've decided to get a Sony RX10 MK4 superzoom bridge camera as my daily camera for outdoor photo trips and travel.
However...
I have an old Lumix GF1, with 20mm F1.7 pancake, 14-45mm kit zoom and Olympus FL-36 bounce flash.
For indoor or higher ISO stuff I'm considering getting something with a more modern sensor, that can take my existing...

Tomorrow I will go for the GF3 + Saymang 7.5 (used but in good condition) for 100€. I'm more interested in the lens but the GF3 battery is the same as my GX80, the GF3 has a "hacktool" that improves video quality. I think it can be an option as a backup camera. What do you think?

I am interested in getting housing for my GM1 as the one as the one for my GF3 cracked(just the case not the camera thankfully). The one I have is Polaroid brand and was made to be used specifically with the 14mm f2.5. The ones I see for the GM1 are all for the 12-32mm lens, which I don't own. My question has anyone tried Meikon or Polaroid housing for GM1 with the 14mm...
