Hi again. Off camera/Radio flash question for Panasonic G3. I would like to get some form of wireless, non IR flash controller as well as a new flash to replace the Nissin. My reason for wireless is I was not happy with the on-camera flash of the G3 being needed to 'remotely' activate the i40.. and add extra light where I didn't want it. I have previously owned a Nissin i40. It died relatively quickly...(unknown reason) and so it was replaced under warranty. The replacement died in even...
I've been asked by some friends to take some photos of their new born and her christening since they're strapped for cash and can't really afford a real photographer instead of me :) I don't mind at all doing it as it'll be a good (new) experience for me since I normally do landscapes and wildlife. The problem as ever is I don't really have a portrait lens I only have big zooms or extreme wide angles neither of which are brilliant for what I need to do. So I've been looking around at lenses...
Hi all, Before I commit to purchasing Adobe Premiere Pro I would like to ensure that video footage I shoot on my Lumix G3 (with 20mm f1.7 for what it's worth) can be imported and processed in Adobe Premiere Pro without losing quality. I cannot find a definitive answer having performed a general search and would like to know if anyone else with the same or similar kit is able to do so. Any hep appreciated!

I am planning to shoot my nephews birthday party this coming weekend, so lots of fast moving 6 year old kids running around an indoor play centre! I would ideally like to freeze the action so fast shutter speeds are the order of the day. However, with the low light conditions, even with my prime f1.8 lens, things could appear quite dull or noisy with a ramped up ISO to compensate. Also a wide open aperture could result in soft focus problems. So I invested in the Metz 44 af-1 external flash...

When I first purchased the camera, manual focus would be picture-in-picture, i.e. the focused area would be overlayed over the entire scene on the screen. Now, when focusing, the entire screen is taken up by just the focus area, and I cannot find instructions for re-enabling that picture-in-picture focusing feature. Please help, thanks!
Nothing too insane. I got inspired to ditch the point and shoot cameras for something better due to seeing pretty awesome deals here and there. Budget wise would probably be $400-600. Will most likely upgrade to something better later, so I don't want that big of an investment in the intermediate one. I saw a pretty nice deal for Panasonic GF3 with Power Zoom Lens for $250 after discounts. And the lens are supposedly more than $300 by itself. But then again, if the camera is mediocre then it...
Hi there, I've been trawling the forums and review websites for a few months now (ridiculous I know), trying to decide on the best camera to take travelling for 2 years to Asia with me. I'd like to spend under $1000 and the most important qualities in a camera for my particular situation are image quality, low light performance, enough zoom or cropping ability for far away objects, quick AF for wildlife shots and bokeh capabilities. So far, I'm considering: Panasonic Lumix FZ200 $450...
