I've got a lumix G3 with a 14-42 and a 45-150mm lens but really want to get a prime lens, Particularly the 25mm f1.7 lumix lens, I never use the 45-150 currently and really fancied getting a prime lens for practicing with and for some lower light shots but really can't afford to be getting one right now so was considering getting rid of one of the others to part fund my purchase, Do you think that is something I will regret doing down the road when I have more experience? My main focus...

Sorry I'm bombarding this place with questions but I'm new so please forgive me :) I have the lumix 14-42 and 45-150 lens for my G3 but I want something that will help get decent shots of moving subjects at night in town, Some pretty poor street lighting areas. I'm working on a budget. like £100 and under. I can't seem to get a f-stop lower than 4 on my lenses. Thanks

I just got a lumix g3 with 2 lenses. 12-44 and 28-150mm(i think) would like maybe one that goes to 300mm aswell but not as expensive as a lumix one as I just spent all my money haha. Anyone recommend a decent 3rd party lens? Total novice so up for any recommendatins that I should look into for shooting decent photos of things in the distance. from animals to football players. Cheers

Hi, I have found a lens I didn't know I had - the 35mm Olympus Macro for a non micro 4/3, with an adapter for micro 4/3. Really! It dates from a time when I really didn't understand about the effects of the sensor size and cropping on my Panasonic Lumix G3. Since then I have bought the 60mm f2.8. Then I moved to full frame for a few years, but I'm picking up the pieces with micro 4/3 again. I am now aware that the 35mm will effectively be 70mm on my Lumix, not a lot different to the 60mm I...
That's right, I'm still using a GF1. I bought it 2nd hand around a year ago as the cheapest way into ILCs, and have a had lots of fun learning with it. I know the answer to all 'should I upgrade from x camera to y camera' is always: 'are you unhappy with x camera? If not, keep it til you're not happy'. I'd like to know if any newer offerings address my issues with the GF1 without removing what I like about it however. I am fine with the resolution, the burst rate, the AF speed, AF points,...

Hello! I am wondering if there is a known issue with reversible screens (or other hardware problem), which I cannot fix by buying a new display and changing it? I cannot afford the 100 Euro for diagnostics and who knows what after that, but I can afford a tiny screwdriver and 20 euro for a replacement screen. What are my chances?
Hi again. Off camera/Radio flash question for Panasonic G3. I would like to get some form of wireless, non IR flash controller as well as a new flash to replace the Nissin. My reason for wireless is I was not happy with the on-camera flash of the G3 being needed to 'remotely' activate the i40.. and add extra light where I didn't want it. I have previously owned a Nissin i40. It died relatively quickly...(unknown reason) and so it was replaced under warranty. The replacement died in even...
I've been asked by some friends to take some photos of their new born and her christening since they're strapped for cash and can't really afford a real photographer instead of me :) I don't mind at all doing it as it'll be a good (new) experience for me since I normally do landscapes and wildlife. The problem as ever is I don't really have a portrait lens I only have big zooms or extreme wide angles neither of which are brilliant for what I need to do. So I've been looking around at lenses...
Hi all, Before I commit to purchasing Adobe Premiere Pro I would like to ensure that video footage I shoot on my Lumix G3 (with 20mm f1.7 for what it's worth) can be imported and processed in Adobe Premiere Pro without losing quality. I cannot find a definitive answer having performed a general search and would like to know if anyone else with the same or similar kit is able to do so. Any hep appreciated!
