Lightroom has a profile for the Tamron 150-600mm A011, and continues to use it for the new G2, A022 version. Does anyone know if the G2 profile is available yet? If so, how do you get it and load it? Maybe we have to wait for a LR update. --https://www.flickr.com/photos/30973952@N06/

The tamron SP 70-200MM F/2.8 Di VC USD is looking really nice right now, especially with rebate going on. Does anyone know if tamron is updating this model anytime soon to look more like the new Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 o or many of tamron's 90mm macro update and prime lenses? I like the look and I wouldn't mind having some updated optics in a lens I plan to be using for years to come, just asking because I can't seem to find anything on google or know a tamron rumor site. I...
Hello and apologies for the newbie question. I have a Celestron 130 Newtonian and I'd like to get set up for astrophotography. I've got a Lumix G2 and a T-adaptor with a 1.25" barlow lens. What I'm struggling to understand is whether I need to add an eyepiece into the end of the barlow lens. I've tried with and without but it's very hard to locate stars in the camera viewfinder. I'm not sure whether this is because I have the wrong settings on the camera which are bewilderingly prolific...

I've been thinking about the D500 and the Tam. G2 lens. I understand (from the Tamron EU page which has a pull down of all compatible cameras) that there may be a compatibility issue with the new lens and the D500. Something about needing to be an AF lens as the camera has no internal AF motor? Has anyone else heard this or know what the situation is? Thanks
Hello guys, I was about to buy a replacement my old TZ20 and get TZ80, but It's holiday here and I couldn't find TZ80 anywhere to be seen in stock. I'm leaving for a 2 weeks trip in the Slovenian mountains, and I guess I have to either use my old TZ20 camera, or my phone. I'm trying to figure out, if the TZ20 is so old by now, that even smart phone camera is better in term of picture quality (if talking pictures outdoors, day-light, and without zoom that is). I tried to compare the quality of...
Dear friends, I am planning to purchase my first telephoto lens for my wildlife photography. I am kind of stuck in between sigma 150-600mm sport and tamron 150-600mm G2. I use D7100. I know that sports model is $600 more costly than the tamron, but i am ready to pay that much amount if difference is significant. I would really appreciate if anyone could give me any response.
First post, and thanks in advance for your assistance. I have had my A6000 for aprox. a year and am still learning its unlimited abilities. The learning curve has been slow but continual. I see that Tamron is coming out with the SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di USD G2 for Sony A cameras. I have been wanting a lense to extend my wildlife shots but only get more confused as I explore options - length and cost vs quality and function. And then there is the Adapter issue, which one will work best with...
