Dear All I’m considering buying an S1R for it’s built-in high megapixel 65:24 format. I need the IBIS and cannot afford the expensive Fuji GFX models with the 65:24 and IBIS (let alone the corresponding lenses). I’ve read a lot of reviews, seen a lot of videos, and read the manual as well as studied what the firmware updates provided. I’ve also downloaded most of the raw photos from Photographyblog, Imaging Resource, and DPreview and studied them closely. So I have a fair idea of what the...

Hi, Probably being very thick here, I would like the folders saved on card to be dated daily, i.e new folder created automatically, rather than everything sitting as its is currently under Pana001, I have looked at manual and its seems you can do it manually, just wondered if I was missing a simple trick for an automatic new folder created by date. Thanks

Have any S1R users had a sudden onset of card failures with CFExpress cards from Prograde.  I have multiple S1R and S1 bodies, after updating to the most recent firmware two separate 120GB CFExpress cards bricked in separate S1R bodies at separate times (but both after firmware update).  THe cards are no unusable on any camera I have, and cannot be read or modified on PC or Apple either in-camera or in the Porgrade reader.  The bulk of my cards are Prograde SD for the CX-350 and generally use...

Hello everybody, Here's my question explained in further detail. I would like to know if it is possible to change the dial function when changing recording mode. When on manual mode, the rear dial changes the shutter speed, and the front dial the aperture. When I switch to aperture priority mode I would like to set my rear dial to control the ISO setting, otherwise both the rear and the front dial are controlling the aperture, which is a waste to me. Is it possible to perform such task? And...

I was wondering if anyone has experience with either or with any luck both.  On M43, I use the PL 50-200 quite a bit, mostly for basic domestic wildlife, landscape details etc. So I'd like something in the equivalent focal range for the S1. The Sigma 100-400 has very good reviews and overall quite equivalent to the PL 50-200 in terms of speed and bokeh.  But then I am wondering: I already have the Panasonic 70-200 f4 for the S1 – and I really love it. Stellar images. If I got the 2x TC, I'd...

Hi, I consider buying some M mount lenses to adapt to my S1R (and sometimes on my Xpro 3...). I read a lot of articles, reviews, and things about adapting M mount lenses, and what I found is that it's a complicated affair. I saw on this forum that some lenses that extend too much on the back would not work on the S1R... But the only example I saw is the 7Artisans 50 1.1 lens.I think it's the same issue with the Xpro 3. When I see the official Fuji adapter for M lenses, they said not all...

Hi folks, I'm a new happy user of the S1 which I mainly use with M lenses (mostly one). What is clouding my happiness is that everytime the camera awakes from sleep mode, I have to re-confirm the 'set focal legth'. It is easy to just click and accept but since I'm using the quick sleep mode to save battery, this is ruinning my user experience... Can this be avoided? Also, as a former DSLR uses, I love the centre magnification option (superb!), but is there any other method similar to the...

I'm in the last days of a ten day COVID-19 induced quarantine (thanks, I'm fine), so instead of counting rice grains I decided to do some extreme lens testing with my new Sigma 50mm 1.4 on the Lumix DC-S1 in High-Res 96MP mode. I made a series of shots with that lens from f1.4 all the way to f16 and in the process noticed that between f5.6 and f11 (so, when the lens is at its sharpest), some weird artefacts start showing up in high contrast areas. The first screen shot shows the upper left...

I can't figure out how to turn off in body stabilization.  I can find  the setting for auto and panning.
