I have had Panasonic H-FS12060 - LUMIX Lens, 12-60mm F3.5–5.6 (12-60 kit lens) since 2016. Recently it has trouble focusing. If the lens is used in 12mm to 18mm range, if focuses with no problem and accuratly. Manual focus also works in this range. As soon as I go over 18mm, autofocus or manual focus do not work. I have tried this on my G85 and Oly e-PL8. All cameras and the lens are updated to the latest available firmware. Any help will be appreciated.

Just yesterday I found out, that on my local market dekitted Panasonic 12-60 3.5-5.6 goes for around 190 USD. And that got me thinking. I already have Pana 12-32, but doesn't really like feel of that lens and only use it with my GF9 when traveling light. Most of times I pick Oly EM10 mkII with almost 10 years old Pana 14-45. But its condition isn't the best after this time(zoom ring was already once fixed) and sometimes I miss the 12mm of the pancake zoom. So I want to ask folks here, do you...

Comparing these two lenses: H-FS12032K: Panasonic Lumix G Vario HD 12-32mm F3.5-5.6 Mega OIS (kit lens), H-FS12060E: Panasonic Lumix G Vario 12-60mm F3.5-5.6 ASPH Power OIS. Except higher range of possible focal lengths, how much is the 12-60mm lens better than the 12-32mm lens? I'm focused especially on following properties: autofocus speed, autofocus precision when shooting moving subjects (75% of photos shoot with the kit 12-32mm lens are a bit misfocused), sharpness.

Got a new G85 and love it. Used my old Oly M4/3 glass and they worked well enough, but when I got the 12 - 60 kit lens the Dual IS kicked in and it turned my G85 into a quick focusing superstar. BUT I BROKE IT!!  The lens hood hooked onto something and it gently but firmly pulled the inner portion out. My lens is now in 2 pieces, but it looks like the inner plastic sleeve just broke, so I hope it is not a big expensive fix.  Where do I send it?  After Googling around I only find United...

Since the overall crop factor in 4k on the D500 is 2.25, does this mean that it has the same DoF and low light performance as the Lumix G85 in 4k video mode (given equivalent focal length lenses, like panny 12-60 & nikon 16-80)?

I'm looking to figure out the best lens combination for my G85 body for my upcoming travel to SE Asia. One issue is that I have a pretty tight weight restriction...would like to cut down to maybe three lenses, four max. Here's what I have: 15 mm 1.7 25 mm 1.7  42.5 1.7 12-60 3.5-5.6 45-150 4-5.6 My favorite lens of the bunch is the 42.5, but that's obviously going to be limiting for environmental portraiture which I'd like to do alot of. I could ditch the kit zoom, but I'm traveling with...

Hi!I've been looking into a possible upgrade from my current 2-year-old Sony A6000. Having always been a fan of MFT (since the first GH1/GF1), I am currently again looking into this direction.I saw the GH5 and I am loving the capabilities on that one though I feel that the GH5 would be overkill for my use and skills so it wouldn't justify the price tag. I don't necessarily need the LOG and 4K 60FPS (though this would have been nice). So after reading quite a lot of news and review, I ended up...

I have a G80/85, with the Panny 14-140 II, and a GX1 that usually has the Panny 12-32 or the Oly 9-18 attached. I'm wondering if the 12-60 would be too cumbersome or poorly balanced on the GX1... Any one tried that particular combo? Bryan Brooks
