This camera tends to get a bad rap because some people buy it thinking it's a simple point and shoot, but it's actually a feature-packed compact camera that requires knowledge of basic camera elements such as aperture and shutter speed to get the most out of it. Results in low light are not great no matter how it's approached. Purchased the camera in 2017.  I mainly take mountain scenery both photo and video. the spec looked great for me especially the great zoom. unfortunately I cannot get good pictures out of this camera. the focusing is terrible. I cannot get it to focus. In fact it seems to choose a focus point and that part of the picture is the only part in focus. Most pictures are unusable. This is obviously for someone that wants to control the various settings, I don't.  I wanted a great point and shoot with zoom capabilities.  I get better pictures with my old DMC-ZS19.  I'm sure it's me and not the camera, but I can't even get a great photo of a robin sitting on the fence about 15 feet off my porch.  I want my old Casio back!
