What would be the best phone for a go everywhere camera. Specially when I have to leave my camera at home. Evening out, special occasions like weddings and functions ? Not too expensive. I have a HTC Desire 816 at present and a broken Panasonic Lumix TZ30 (camera) Thanks

Now that my TZ30 is dead ( see earlier post ), I am in a quandary as what to buy. TZ70, TZ80 or Sony HX90V ? TZ70 and 80 will be a bit difficult to get since Panasonic India does not seem to bring them in. Sony HX90V is already available. Is there an upgrade to this camera this year. I am looking at overall image quality, RAW does not matter too much. I am reluctant to move away from the tried and tested Pannys. How is the Carl-Zeiss lens as compared to the Leica lens of the Panny ? Any one...

This is a picture I have taken in very harsh conditions - at noon in bright sunlight. The picture has come 'washed out and dull with low contrast'. How to improve on this a) While taking the photo b) During post processing Thanks in advance.

How do you think the TZ30 will fare in Egypt /Jordan ? My husband will be taking his Nikon DSLR, but I will be using the TZ30 exclusively. Any specific tips. Thanks Madhabi

I have a Panasonic DMC-ZS20. If I'm making motion pictures in Program mode, the playback is intermittently clear, then blurry (about 3 seconds of clear picture, then 3 seconds of quite blurry picture). (The actual photography setting is me as the subject in my kitchen, standing against a beige solid-colored wall. I am just talking, standing still). I've experimented with different settings, but can't resolve the problem. I can make somewhat satisfactory motion pictures in iA mode, but I would...

Hello, I'm using the Panasonic TZ30 (ZS20) for several years now and I thought to buy a new camera before my big holiday to Africa this summer. I don't want to have a big camera but a compact one with a big zoom range so I can also catch animals during a safari. I've read a few reviews about the new TZ70 (ZS50). I'm wondering if this camera would be a great improvement to my current camera? What do you think? Is the image quality better in the new model or is it worse because of the wider...

I have a Panasonic Lumix ZS20 camera. I use 2 64GB SanDisk Extreme Class 10 SDXC MicroSD cards (with adaptor) to capture my pictures and videos. I recently purchased a Lenovo Yoga 10 HD+ Android tablet. I bought this tablet so I can view my pictures while travelling and unload the MicroSD cards onto a portable HDD. The tablet has a MicroSD slot which requires FAT32 format (same as the Lumix ZS20). I expected that I would be able to move a MicroSD card from the camera to the tablet and review...

I bought an used camera - Lumix DMC-ZS19 and I am not sure how to do this operation.  How do I focus the subject (in my case - a bird) during recording? When I start with 1x zoom and start recording the video and then zooming onto the bird - the focus goes out.  Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Dear camera enthusiasts, I have been searching for a camera with the following properties (listed in order "higher priority first"): 1. Good image quality in low light conditions, mostly indoor shots of (possibly moving) kids and people. I understand that this is a tough requirement and requires a big sensor and large aperture, and hence it's not going to be cheap. 2. Not too bulky and can be carried under the belt, so that I can take it out, take a shot and put it back quickly and forget...
