So I've been using my Lumix G85 with the 14-140mm f3.5 lens for a few years now, for both traveling and hiking. I'm very happy with the quality of it and the range of zoom is almost perfect for both landscapes & wildlife, which I love to take pictures of both.
Only thing is, after miles of hiking that almost 2lb weight can get a little annoying on your shoulder(I have a cross body shoulder strap so the camera is always at the ready), and it can be annoying at times if you're climbing over...

The ZS100 specs say it has a 24-240mm (35mm equivalent) F/2.8-5.9 zoom and the ZS200 a 24-360mm (35mm equivalent) F/3.3-6.4 zoom. At what focal length do they reach the higher-numbered (5.9 and 6.4) f-stops?

Has anyone had problems with the ZS100 connecting to a Mac (Catalina) using USB and Image Capture?
I will admit I did not even TRY to deal with wifi.
Help?

Would the Sony RX100VII or the Panasonic ZS100 be considered mirrorless cameras? What kind of shutters do they have. TIA

When shooting on T mode for shutter speed, I am unable to get an exposure time of more than 128 seconds, is there any way to bypass the settings and get longer exposures?

Want to buy a Lumix DC ZS100, but need to know: I typically set my camera to under expose 1/3 f stop and set it for shade white balance even when in sunlight. I prefer deep warm colors. Does this camera's P or auto+ setting keep these settings without resetting every time I turn it on?
Or the does the ZS200?

Hi Folks
Very late to the forum. Have used a ZS60/70 for ages and recently got a great deal on a ZS100. Am finding the quick menu via the touch screen makes the camera so much easier/faster to change settings.
Have read the last (few) year's worth of threads - some great discussions and tips. I have set the NR to -5 and boosted contrast and sharpness as recommended and it does make a great difference to the JPEG output. I am shooting RAW as well and finding DXO a great tool.
So long...

At top left and right. These appear in the same place on all the versions of this shot and similar ones I took today with camera turned vertically and shooting into the overcast sky. I have the dehaze cranked up 1/2 way so you can see them. There are no spots on the lens that I can see, and none in the 2nd example that I can see. Some sort of lens aberration? It's dark out now but tomorrow I'll take some test shots and see if they appear. Panasonic ZS100. Thanks.
