I just got a Panasonic LF1; very nice replacement to my ancient TZ5. I have grown away from compact cameras over the years, but with a 3-week trip to Europe coming up I wanted to have a smaller camera to use when I wasn't out taking serious pictures. I'm hoping someone here can direct me to a compact Panasonic point-and-shoot model that offers a port to add a remote shutter release. I need it to shoot documents with the camera mounted to a flexible copy arm and like to find a model similar or smaller in size and weight than my DMC-TZ4. I've been using a Canon G12 but the camera weighs down by flex copy arm. It would be helpful if the model had GPS, but the remote shutter is my top priority. Thanks for any help.
