I have a TS5 and my buddy has a Garmin GPS tracker which he uses, along with Gaia for his iPhone as a secondary backup source, and we recently compared the location logging between the two. his Garmin and Gaia are almost 100% in sync while my TS5 is generally in the same area, but highly erratic and usually 50-100ft off. Has anyone else noticed this? Could it be something wrong with my camera or does this model just have poor GPS accuracy even when it says it's locked?
Hey guys, I would like your expert opinion. I was only checking the reviews, but I would like to hear from an expert that knows every number in the specs or have experience with these cameras. Basically, looking for a gps enabled waterproof camera. I found the following ones: - Canon PowerShot D30 - Olympus TG-3 - Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS5 - Nikon COOLPIX AW120 Which one is the best option based on specs/experience and why? Other suggestions (newer models, better, etc.) are welcome too, however...
Hello! After using my camera in the pool, I left it to dry in a sealed box with silica gel. But the camera lens is still fogged after a day, and it's the inner lens that is fogged. I will try to leave it for a few more days with the silica gel. Anybody else have faced the same problem? Should I try to change it's surrounding temperature again to let the water condense and dry up in the lens for a second time?
Red Card Error Message I keep getting this error message when I use my camera, the camera will take upto 16 shots then stops working. It will also take video for a limited amount of time. When I remove the card and insert it into my card reader the images & video are on the SD card, it downloads fine, I put the card back into the camera and format it. It still gives me this error. I have checked that the right protect slider is in the correct position. I don't know what else to try...

I want to add focal range to my kit, right now my 35-100 f/2.8 is the longest lens aside from a legacy 135mm f/2.8. I am looking at the well regarded FT50-200/2.8-3.5, using a mmf3 to preserve the weather seal for use on EM-5. As opposed to opting for a FT teleconverter for use with only one lens, if /or when there is a native teleconverter for the MFT would it be possible to use it in conjunction with adapted lens as well as the faster native lens? thanks in advance for any input, I am...
Hello all :-) New to your fine forum and have a question. I do environmental work and need a digital cam, so I purchased one. I have a panasonic DMC- TS5 with the built in compass (to show aspect), GPS, altimeter, as well as the time and date shown. Is there any way to have this info "stamped" on my pics? Im still trying to figure this little piece of technology out. The above info is shown when I take the pic and view it on the camera, but when I download to my PC the info is not on the...
