This is a point-and-shoot camera with as a main feature the mechanical anti-shake option. I have a very unstable hand, and I can say from experience that the anti-shake function works very well, even in full optical zoom. Macro mode pictures are very good, even though it seems that the anti-shake works less efficiently there. Scrolling through the images can be done very fast when zooming out during the 'play' option, so you get 4/9/16 pictures per display. My 1st digi cam, brought mainly due to the image stabaliser. down side can be image quality due to the jpeg only format, dark shots that need flash are very noisy, blues and blacks blending in make my suit look strange. otherwise great starter cam.View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
