I'm looking at adding a lens to go with my preordered A7iii and dumping my Canon adapted glass. I mainly shoot video with a little stills which is why I'm leaning toward the PZ 28-135 vs the 24-105 G. I am wondering if anyone has used the A9 and it's autofocucs features with the 28-135 as it would be useful for me for stills and sports photos? I just don't want to get an older generation lens that doesn't utilize all the features of the newer cameras. I've rented the lens many times for video...
I have a great collection of Minolta and Sony A mount lenses from Tokina, Sigma, and Tamron. I mostly shoot video and like the APSC/Super 35mm because I use the Sony FS7 at work. I'm looking to buy myself a new camera for Christmas after buying the kids loads of stuff. I'm looking in buying a SONY A7Sii or SonyA7Rii. Mostly at home I've been shooting video on the "Sony A77 mark one," which is APSC. I know I will need the LA EA4 adapter to attach my lenses to the SONYA7Sii or any E mount...
I come seeking knowledge. I have shot some footage on my Sony Fs7 at 120 fps at full scan When I import the footage to Premiere pro it plays back at 120 fps but I want it to look normal pace to begin with. How do I Change to footage to *normal speed* and then slow it down to 120 fps for slow motion?? I thank you in advance.. any help would be incredible!

Hi! I'm new on this forum and I have a question about Sony DSC-HX60. I'm using this camera mostly for video shooting (I've upgraded from DSC-W350). When I bought this camera, I didn't even know it has a manual mode. However, when I found out, I was impressed with how useful this setting can be and started wondering why can't I use it when recording a video? I mean, you can even shoot 10 pictures per second in this mode - this is almost like a video, so why can't I use it in video mode?...

Hi, I'm a second year cinematography student and I can't decide whether I should buy a second-hand A7S or keep saving for the A7S II. Or just rent an FS7 or whenever I get a bigger job and shoot my very old nikon D7000 on smaller jobs. It's not the 4K or Slog-3 why I would want to buy the A7S II. It's more that the rolling shutter has been lowered form 30ms to about 25ms. And that I think it would be less visible when shooting handheld or with a shoulderrig because of the 5-axis...

I was planning on acquiring Sony's PZ 28-135 lens. The reviews have mostly been stellar and it is designed for the FS7 as well as the A7S and A7RII. Unfortunately, an emerging consensus is that A7RII video is best in S35 mode, making the widest angle on the PZ lens 42mm, and Sony's standard 24-70 would = 36 - 105. Has anyone tried with success APS/C or full frame lenses that are more practical, either from Sony or from a Canon mount supplier for a standard zoom? The Sigma APS/C 18-35 f 1.8,...
