I have at least a dozen compact point & shoot digitals (including the fh5, fh6, fh8, fh10, SZ1, SZ3 and some Nikons & Samsungs). I use them for field work (not photography), so they see a lot of use in different conditions & lighting environments (rain & night-time included). This is one of my top 3 favorites for several reasons: 1) Focus works quickly & efficiently (without getting confused by reflections). I just bought the Panasonic Lumix DMC FH6, but I'm really disappointed at it. I have owned several point and shoot camera, along with a high end DSLR. I have to say this Panasonic camera really sucks. It makes a lot of noise at indoor and low light condition, and it's image is very soft. The color is very dull.  Its picture quality is just like the one taken from a very cheap cell phone.  I bought it from Rakuten.com, which claimed it was brand new.
