First, don't expect the 12mp sensor PM1 to perform in low light the same as the later 16mp sensor cameras, because it won't even come close.  And the first gen IBIS isn't in the same league as the three axis, which won't compare with the five axis IBIS on Olympus cameras, either. Bought this camera secondhand about 3 months ago as a second body to my EPL-1, and haven't stopped being amazed by its capabilities. I had read the various reviews, and was prepared to 'put up with' the lack of buttons & control buttons as it was intended as a second body, but on using this camera, I quite quickly found out that it's all in there ! I have used Olympus E series SLRs for a few years now, and still have a pair of E600s, so I used the Super Control Panel to change any settings. ...

This poor camera cannot be used for "street photography" unless you want to wait for it to boot up from 'off"; wearing it on a strap with it turned om inevitably jostles the joypad and rotates the dial to a menu position which makes the camera unusable in some way.  Once, it turned on the 12-sec delay; another time, the camera locked up completely and would not take a picture until turned off and on again, at which time the menus were all messed up and needed to be reset. una macchinettta che tutto sommato fa bene il suo lavoro, accensione veloce, molte modalita' di scatto fotografiche, diversi formati anche per i piu' esigenti, viene fuori un file jpeg che non bisogna di molte variazioni, soprattutto usando i programmi con piu' saturazione del colore.Se proprio devo trovare qualche difetto direi la messa a fuoco non sempre precisissima e la degradazione della qualita' della foto quando si scatta superiore agli 800 iso.Comunque vale i suoi soldi e per un ...
