Olympus PEN E-PL6 User Reviews

I got this back in 2015 with the original 14-42mm F 3.5-5.6 EZ lens. Unfortunately, the kit lens didn't last long but was able to get both the 12-50mm and the 40-150mm ED lens on time. I still use this camera and honestly, it's great. Even though it does not have high-end specs it has the specs I need as I do photography as my main hobby.

I missed out on the $300 clearance PL6 bundles where you got the camera and the 14-42 II R kit lens, and for an extra $100 Olympus included the 40-150 R telephoto.  But, I managed to buy a pristine PL6 body online, only 500 clicks,  for $190 delivered, and it has a six month warranty from a reputable camera shop.  The PL6 is cheap, is the first thing to consider. What do you NOT get with a PL6 that would would with a PL7 or PL8?  The newer cameras have built in WiFi and 3 axis stabilization, ...

After the greater part of a year using this camera, I have to say it is a tiny powerhouse. I wanted a small ILC to replace an older compact camera I used as backup for my DSLR. After just a couple of weeks I was using this camera for most things except for when I needed finer manual control or just a little bit more speed.
