Today at lunch I met a guy via Craigslist to see about buying his Pany 20mm lens.  I have the 2 kit lenses for my E-PL2 but wanted something brighter for indoor shots. But for some reason, the camera refused to focus on medium- to long-distance objects after focusing at short range.  If you turned off the camera and turned it on again, it would focus on far objects, but once you focused at a closer object (4-5 ft.) it would lock up.  This occured in both Aperture and iAuto modes.  Can anyone...

Hello, I have an E-PL2 with a few lenses.  I'm interested in getting something on the longer end for shooting indoor kid stuff (concerts, ceremonies etc.).  I think I'd be willing to deal with manual focus or really slow focus (I'm not trying to capture action sports).  I also would like to spend much less than the price of the new m4/3 75mm. I'm pretty clueless in terms of whats available in 4/3 glass or other really old stuff.  What adapter would I need?  Any recommendations?  Point me...

Is the Panasonic 45-200mm 4/5.6 m4/3rds lens, fully compatible on the Oly PEN E-PL2 camera body?  Is an adapter required?  Since the Panny lens has lens image stabilization, and the Oly body has IBIS, must you turn off the camera's IBIS for best results from the lens's IS?  Can you turn of the Panny's IS and use the Oly IBIS instead?  Or is that either a bad idea, or not an option. Is $200 a fair price for a well cared for 45-200 lens? Thanks.

I'm looking to find a few accessories for my new (to me) E-PL2.  Here's what I'm looking for:1) 1/2 case2) Batteries3) Wire OR Remote shutter releaseCouple of conditions, though.  I don't want to purchase through Ebay.I'd like to purchase all 3 items from the same source...if possible.I'd like to save money.  So ordering from Olympus is out. Thanks for any leads.

Can you direct me to the specific adapter that I need in order to be able to use a Canon EF AF 55-250mm lens with my E-PL2?  Or is trying to merge a current Canon EF-S AF lens onto this camera body, not practical?  If so, what about a Canon 70-200 f4 IS USM lens?  I need to be able to utilize a longer (than my 40-150mm ) lens on the E-PL2, and would like to be able to use a lens I already have.Thanks.

Hello, is anybody aware of the aspect ratio of OMD's screen? It's a 4:3 like E-PL2 or a 16:9 like E-PM1? Thanks :-)

I currently have a Oly 14-42 II lens and was thinking of getting a prime lens....specifically a good used 17mm 2.8.  Will I find the IQ of this prime noticably better than my zoom?  Or is any improvement in IQ too close to call, and I'd just as well served by forgetting about the prime lens?  Your answers and opinions are always important to me.I only recently acquired a beautiful and gently used E-PL2 with both the 14-42 II and 40-150mm lenses. Thanks

I just bought a nice used E-PL2, and have lots of questions, even having referred to the manual.But....what is the difference between the mode setting of "iAUTO" and "P"?  Does "iAuto" take absolutely everthing out of the hands of the photographer; with the camera choosing every setting automatically?  Does "P" setting at least allow for maybe one setting that can be determined by the shooter....like ISO, perhaps? And, how do I select the top image quality for JPEG? I can set "LF" but I'd like...
