Just got my G85 and am loving it. Here's my question: Does Panasonic have a program like Olympus Master for uploading photos from the camera to pc? I loved how Olympus Master uploaded my E600 Photos into folders by month and day. --'Adam used to pretend he could play bass. He came round and started using words like 'action' and 'fret' and he had us baffled.'Bono, on the early days
I am frustrated with my E600 since it does not produce good images while I was trying to capture some backyard birds through glass. My superzooms produce better quality pictures. I shoot under ISO1000 and shutter speed in the range of 100-200 ( IS =1 ). Am I missing some settings ? These pictures are taken at different times, however the quality is completely off. Both has almost same focal size. I am puzzled and took 100s of pictures ( jpeg and raw), but it appears that I can easily...
I am actually using an Olympus E-30 system and am planning to move into FF in the coming month or so and still undecided between the E-600 and the A7. I have handled the A7 at a Sony store and love the size-ergonomic. The EVF I could also live with. Main reason for me to choose the A7 over the E600 would be size. My main concern remains the lack of lenses, especially in the superwide range which I use a lot for architecture photos. I still have my old Minolta Maxxum 5 SLR and a few lenses,...
Hi there - I am hoping someone will be able to identify a problem I am having with my Olympus E600. I recently uploaded to my computer some photos from two recent trips and noticed that the pictures were not as sharp as usual. On closer inspection I noticed a kind of pixelated graininess in the pictures - see the black cat's fur below. I have since used two different lenses and memory cards and have reset the camera to try and isolate the problem, but to no avail. Has anyone seen anything...
Hi Guys,The A37 is on my shortlist to replace an ageing but much loved Olympus E-600Can anyone confirm how the A37 behaves in Auto ISOFirstly, can you limit how high it goes in Auto - the manual seems to indicate that it will go all the way up to 3200 in Auto mode.Secondly, does it head rapidly up the sensitivity scale keeping away from slow shutter speeds or does it hang on to low ISOs as long as it can - supplementary question, can you set a minimum shutter speed in P ?Any other "gotchas"...
