hello. before a year i bought an olympus OM4. The seller said to me that is possible an OM4T prototype as this camera belongs to his father he works for many year in olympus. in the front side of the camera near OM4 there was a T red letter sticker that was placed Near 4 ( like 4T). when i received this camera as an amateuro i thought that this camera is An OM4 and just somebody sticks there the T letter. I placed it on ebay to sell like an OM4 camera and a person message me that the up side...

Hi all - just taken the plunge into FF goodness with a 6D (with double cashback which ended today, it had come down to a fabulous price here in the UK) and a handful of lenses (24-105L, 40/2.8, 85/1.8). I'm loving the no-nonsense and relatively frills-free design of the camera (it slightly reminds me of my Olympus E-1 which still comes out on occasion) and I'm looking forward to taking it out for a proper whirl over the coming days. But.... ....I cannot get the Canon digital solutions...
Hi guys, I bought an Olympus E-1 way back in 2002/3 when they first came out in the UK. I have recently got back into photography after a bit of a lull and am looking for your recommendations for an upgrade. I got a macro and a 50-200 lens at the same time. The question really is what Olympus cameras are out there right now that would allow me to use the lenses I already have? Many thanks Fionnghal
I currently have an EM5ii with the 12-50 f/3.5-6.3 and a 40-150 f/4-5.6. I came to that from an E-1 with 14-54 f/2.8-3.5 and a variety of lenses (most notably, both a 40-150 f/4-5.6 and a 50-200 f/2.8-3.5). But I'm a traveller who takes photographs rather than a photographer, and I tend not to change lenses very often, with the standard zoom accounting for 80+% of my photos. See http://wanderingdanny.com/ The slowness of the 12-50 at the long end is starting to frustrate me, and is the one...
I'm making a custom belt from two original FourThirds neck straps (originally sold with the E-1 I believe). I have one strap and all the leather parts sown up and am not looking for another original strap to finish the project. I thought it would be easy to find, but it's not really. The original neck strap had the 4/3rds logo embossed on the ends. The letters on the strap are embroidered (rather than painted) and the white pin stripes down the side of the are what I would call "pixelated"...
Let me start by saying that i do own a canon 1dx + a GPS E-1 unit + a couple batteries (LP-E4) and i am wondering whether or not to have it replaced by a 5d mark IV, while the value of the 1dx is still acceptable. I think if adding the extra batteries and the GPS unit, i might be able to get it for roughly the same price. I do mainly landscape and travel photography (cityscape), and just sporadically i shot birds, and sports, but these are a minor fraction of the pictures i take. Photography...
I have bought two E-1's off of ebay and I think that they are some of the best investments I could have made. I was already invested in four thirds and I wanted another body so I hunted around and came to the conclusion that I wanted a big camera with a button for everything to make manual operation faster (I don't know how mirrorless people use a camera without a button for everything). I love the two cameras they still work great. They are slower nothing is instant like is pretty much is on...
Hello forum members, may be one of the old memners here can help. I´ve got my old E-100 RS from the attic. Everything is still working except for the backup battery which buffers the clock / calendar and the settings of the camera. Now when I switch the thing to off and later to on again, time / date and everything else defaults to zero. Does anybody know where this backup battery is located in the camera and what type number this lithium battery is ? I´d like to replace it and use the camera...
