The Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 8-25mm F4 Pro is 16-50mm equivalent lens for Micro Four Thirds. The lens has a retractable design and has 16 elements, which include Super ED, ED and EDA glass. A large 'DSA' element reduces sagittal comatic aberration, and the 'ZERO' coating reduces flare and ghosting.
The 8-25mm has a minimum focus distance of 23cm (9") across the focal range and a magnification of 0.42x. Seventy-two millimeter filters are supported.
As with all of Olympus's Pro lenses, the 8-25mm is weather-sealed (to IPX1 standards) and freeze-proof. The front element has a fluorine coating to repel oil and water.

The Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 8-25mm F4 Pro is a versatile lens with no direct peer. It offers a wide-angle to normal field-of-view, and while not as bright as some of its similar competitors, the constant F4 aperture makes it useful for everything from landscape to street to travel photography. It's sharp wide open, and optical aberrations are kept to a minimum. Speedy and silent autofocus along with a lack of focus breathing make the lens a great option for videographers as well.
Good for: Landscape, street, travel photography, and videographers
Not so good for: Portrait photographers looking for subject isolation, low light photography
