Hi all,Need some help deciding which lens to add to my kit. I shoot with the Oly OMD EM5 Mark II. I shoot mostly landscape, night, travel and some city. I do not shoot portraits, wildlife, macro. I have been mostly considering the Oly 7-14mm f2.8 Pro or the Oly 40-150mm f.28 Pro. My current kit includes: Rokinon 12mm f2.0 (mostly night shots) Pany 14mm f2.5 (low profile shooting) Oly 12-40mm f2.8 Pro (my go-to) Oly 25mm f1.8 (street shooting) Oly 40-150mm f4-5.6 (budget add-on) As mentioned...

I'll be visiting south America between January-March and decided to buy the Olympus E-M10 Mk 3 for the trip. I bought it as a deal with two lenses - Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 II R LensOlympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/4-5.6 R Lens I'm not sure that these are the lenses I want to take with me to the trip (they were part of the deal). I'd appreciate any suggestions you might have concerning lenses that are suitable for shooting people, streets, landscapes and more. I'm...

Hi all, I have used Canon Powershot S100 for many years (since 2012), and I am thinking of upgrading my camera. The particular camera I am interested in right now is Olympus M10 III, due to the acceptable budget and weight. (actually previously I was considering Lumix ZS200). Here, they sell Olympus M10 III with 2 kits : - 14-42mm lens - 14-42mm lens + 40-150mm lens I am thinking of getting the dual lens kit, and additional 45mm F1.8 lens. I am thinking of using 14-42mm most the time...

So I am trying to figure out where to go for a tele lens for my E-M1 m2.  I currently have the 40-150mm f4-5.6 as a tele starter, and it takes photos, but only so so ones given its price point.   I also own the 12-40pro, which is my main use lens.  So I am sorta torn at what to possibly move to.  Do I sell the 12-40pro and the 40-150 and get the 12-100pro?  At first glance I was leaning this way, but then I wasnt sure if I would miss that last 50mm. Do I just sell the 40-150mm and get the...

Hi, I have an Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/4.0-5.6 R Lens. I see quality degrades in the background or plane area of the images, whenever I shot photos 1) at 150mm or/and 2) with f-stops beyond 15-22. Is there any calculation, I should not go beyond certain focal length and/or f-stops in the lense to get better images. I shot with Olympus OM-D EM-5 II with all noise settings OFF and I think the quality degrade nothing do to with sensor cleaning. Thank you. Vasanth

Hello! As I've explained before , I'm moving from DSRL to M43, and I'm looking for a initial set of lenses. I have the current setup in mind: - OM-D E-M5 II; - Oly 12-40 PRO; - Oly 75-300 II; - Oly 45mm 1.8. The 12-40 is a no-brainer, it's my first choice and I'll stick to it. The 75-300 II came to replace the 40-150 R, in order to give me more room to try some telephoto shots. The 45mm 1.8 is becoming the elephant in the room. I love the shots, the sharpness all along the frame, but I'm...

Today I tried to clean the rear element of my Zuiko ED 40-150 with a microfiber cloth. Otherwise, I clean my filters and the front lens with this cloth and breath to the lens without any problem. But it made the rear element purplish and smudged. What should I do now? Should I buy some kind of liquid or another cloth?

Hi all you specialists! I am selling my Canon D350 and all its belongings: Tokina 12-24 f4; Sigma 24-70 f2.;Canon 50mm f1.8; Canon 70-300 f4-5.6 is usm; Canon Flashlite 430EX II. All the glass and stuff are too heavy nowadays. I will be backpacking though India soon and I prefer to travel light. I know I might loose some quality sometime/somewhere, but that's OK. I am not taking any shots now as all gear is nicely stored in a cupboard. I focus on mirrorless 4/3 and it ain't easy to make my...

When talking about the great, cheap Olympus 40-150, reviews say to avoid using it past 100. Does anyone have experience comparing the small Panasonic 35-100 f/4-5.6 to this Olympus lens? The size is pretty significantly different, but the Olympus is still quite light, if cheap-feeling. Thoughts?
