I have a Fuji XP130 tough camera but the IQ and AF are pretty terrible. I am considering replacing it with a TG-6, but looking at samples online I'm not sure it will be much better. Will a TG-6 do better than these shots from the Fuji, or am I expecting too much from this type of camera? Can anyone provide any samples from the TG-5 or TG-6 in similar conditions or offer any advice?

I'm curious if I'm understanding the Time Lapse functionality of the Olympus TG-6 correctly... You can only shoot up to 299 frames? No endless shooting? You can only go down to 1fps? No sub-second shooting? I was hoping to replace my aging GoPro 3 which will shoot time lapse until the battery dies or the card fills up at down to .5 sec intervals.

The video record button on the TG-5/6 is on the back of the camera. But if you want to use the Olympus Sport Holder, or some other way of attaching the camera to use as a sports camera, there is no easy way to push this button. I don't see any way in the menu on my TG-6.
