Bellow Average! Poor image quality. (this is an old camera now 2009, only found as 2nd hand) I ve only used this camera for a day or so.. but i think I came up with a conclusion It PS camera with NOT many features to tune up. (it has P(rogram) and A(uto)) Small well contracted (alloy) with bright TFT display. Quite fast start up AF assist lamp. I bought a demo model of the FE-250 as a carry all the time camera. The price I paid was therefore about 50% of the standard retail price. I think the camera isn't worth much more than that. It's not a bad camera. But it's not so good as you would aspect considering the price. Outside it takes good pictures. Close ups are good to very good. Great Price. Goods pics. One of the first digital cameras i had was the c3000 (back in 2000). To date it was the best non-SLR I ever owned, flawless pics in any light. I selected the FE-250 because it is one of the few cameras in its size category that boast a 1/1.8" CCD (like the c-3000).
