C1400XL was my second Olympus Digital, and the SLR feature was the compelling reason I bought it. Compared to the C-820L, this camera had speed and feel of a 35mm camera. Some of my first images are stil at my homepage (http://www.xs4all.nl/~fredfell). Problems: Low light focusing, cyan overtone.

SLR "through the Lens" Viewfinder, 43mm threaded lens - perfect for using addon lenses & filters. No problems swapping batteries & memory cards when used on a tripod. The camera is pretty fast, quick power up and switching from record to play mode and vice versa without huge delays/rebooting. Sequence shooting in full res possible. My 620L performed without any problems for about a year now. Problems: Low-light focussing is tricky. LCD Display has inferior resolution.
