I like the D-490 Zoom. I am not extremely impressed with the indoor picture quality unless I set it to TIFF format. Even then the white balance is sometimes off but I can live with it because the outdoor shots, macro shots, and panorama feature are great. I would recommend this camera to anyone who can live with sub-par indoor pictures in exchange for great outdoor pictures and everything else. The QuickTime format is fun too. Olympus D-490 Zoom (C990Z)
I love the design of this camera and bought it to supplement my Olympus 2000, which is not quite so easy to stuff in a pocket. Unfortunately, there is a trade off in quality for size and convenience.
