(1) Excellent photo quality (2) Focus accurate (3) Fast start-up In my view, it's a very good camera for both new and old hands. Cost around $500, which is value for money. If you wish to buy one 5.MP camera with high quality, this model is be recommended. Problems: You should read thoroughly the user guide before using it.

1. Very low quality of camera OLYMPUS C-5060 WZ – poor software, very defective electronic modules. 2. Not robust in use. Very high rate of defects. For less than 10 months my camera was for repair three times in warranty. The defects are not damages by use they are manufacturing defects of the cameras. 3. Very slow in use - long time for adjustment. 4. Very poor and not fear customer service and very low qualified technical support. OLYMPUS is not interested in customer satisfaction. The ...

BUG!!! weird behavior. This is an update after about 7 months of use. THE CAMERA FAILED. Sometimes it doesn't turn on or wouldn't turn off, then the dial doesn't do anything, the P, M, S, A modes don't switch or stay stuck in one mode. Random menus pop up, most buttons don't work. I can still take pictures if the camera chooses S or P mode - i can't control it!!! similar behaviour had been described in other posts and people were able to get it repared by warranty.. But I am in Russia and ...

Firstly, image quality is outstanding. Really top notch. Some slight noise if you look hard enough at the images, but nothing that can't be fixed. Secondly, this camera is PACKED with features. Yes you can point and shoot right out of the box, but to get the best images you'll need to read thru the manual and get to know all the settings. The camera does need some fine tuning (white balance/sharpness) to use it's full potential. Thirdly, once you know your way around the camera, it is a ...

I' m loving every shot that i have taken with this cam. Problems: - No shortcut ! For this camera, you have to go through each and every page of its user manual if you want to get the most out of it (some 280 pages, which you need to print it from the CD if you want to have the ease of reading hardcopy...shame on you Olympus) - I hate the plastic lense cap !

overall a very good digital for semi-prosumer, with 27mm wide angle lens best for taking landscape and group-pictures. Problems: 4xoptical zoom not very enough.
