Hi to all, So as everybody and their mother knows, Olympus is going down. As an EM1X user, I am exploring other cameras systems to which to migrate to. I used to own Nikon gear about 7 years ago but sold it all for the compact Olympus system. I have been looking at the current mainstream big boys of full frame (Canon R, Nikon Z6, Sony A7III and Panasonic S1). After studying several thousand images it is clear that the Panasonic and the Canon produce the best colors... ESPECIALLY THE...

I have a Z6 with the kit lense, the 14-30 mm Z lens, and a Tamaron 70-300 mm lens that I am looking for a backpack for.  I would also like to have room for a flash attachment and straps to hook a tripod onto.  I will not be taking any long hikes with these, but would like something is not uncomfortable to wear.  Any suggestions?

Was wondering if you kind adapted lens experienced people might chime in. I've seen a few videos testing the new Canon EF to Nikon Z adapters that exist, and AF performance was usually "not bad, not great". But have also read anecdotal reports (tho not seen tests) of Sony adapted lenses working "like native" lenses on Nikon Z. I'm considering getting some adapted lenses and wondering if any of you kind peeps might contribute your 2c - experience with adapted lenses AF - what works, what...

I am considering buying a Z50 with the 2-lens kit but I am a little concerned by the lack of IBIS on the Z50. The Z6 and Z7 have IBIS and many of the Z lenses on the roadmap appear to lack in-lens (VR) stabilization. I have been holding off on buying the Z50 out of concern that I might regret not having IBIS if Nikon is shifting away from VR in the Z series. However, today I read in several other threads that VR (or IBIS) is not desirable under some conditions (such as shooting with a prime...

Can someone please explain to me in simple terms (if possible) the physical differences in what the camera is doing between normal mode and "silent photography" mode? Follow up questions: - will my photos in silent mode be as sharp or significantly different than in regular mode? - if not, what is the reason you wouldn't always shoot in silent mode? For some context, I have a newborn (one week old today) and, of course, am snapping a lot of photos of him while he's sleeping. The camera is...

Hey guys, I just purchased my Z6 but every XQD card is sold out in Southern Ontario, and even online they are hard to find. The Henry's I bought it from had CFExpress cards in stock but I know I can't use them without the latest firmware update. Is it possible for me to update the firmware so I can buy a CFExpress card and actually start shooting with the camera? Thanks in advance.

Hi all! Does anybody knows is it possible to make faster auto-iso (or shutter speed) reaction to condition changes? Sometimes it's so slooow and i take a shot with incorrect exposure just because camera doesn't have time to adjust it. I know smooth exposure transition is good for video, but sometimes it's a problem for photography. For comparison my second camera (Fuji) adjust exposure literally instantly P.s. Sorry in advance for my English :)
