Basically... I have a J5, I like it more than I expected, so I want to use this setup more. But I kinda want an evf, and I don't want the bulk and non-tilting display of a v2, and I don't want to spend over $1,500 on a used v3 full kit. But there's often somewhat affordable v3's on ebay, body only (I assume from places outside the US where you could buy it new without the grip + evf). I've been hunting ebay for anyone selling just the body + evf, or just the evf separately for a while and I...
I have reading posts about using the FT1 with tamron 150-600 G2 on a V2. From what I have read it sees to work. I have a question as to what FT1 firmware works with the tamron FT1 firmware 1.1 or 1.2? Has anyone used a V3 with the tamron 150-600 G2 with success? If so what firmware on the FT1? I have a V3 and a tamron 150-600 G2 and tamron 100-400 that I use with DX and FX bodies. i have not purchased an FT1 yet to try with my V3 and tamron lens. So looking for info before I decide to buy...
I bought a V3 2 weeks ago (new) and i realized that there is a strange color shift going on. Its very obvious on the right side of the pictures. First picture is a photo of a white computer screen. On the second picture you can see the purple shift on the bottom right corner. On the third photo you can see the sky turning purple from left to right. I tried diffrent ISO settings and differnt lenses but it doesnt change anything. Should i send it back to nikon? Thanks for your help, best regards

Regarding my previous post, I change my mind from the leica R 180mm f2.8 to these lenses because of some reviews. I'm interested both of these lenses for use with my Leica SL. I have had the leica summicron 90mm f2 v3 (pre asph) but i sold it already and i have plan to buy the new one (90 apo), yesterday I just read some review of Leica Summilux R 80mm f1.4 and i really like the bokeh of it. Has anyone use both of these lenses? and which one is better for any situation? I like to candid...

About myself first. I have the V1 and V2 and most of the lenses. I'm 78 and apart from an inexpensive pocket camera, unlikely to change to any other system. Most photography will be travel related until I reach my "best before" date. I had been hoping for a V4 which now seems to be unlikely. So, the reason for the question is I have found on amazon.ca here in Canada, a seller that has a few of what appears to be factory refurbished V3 kits with viewfinder, grip and 10-30 PD lens with 90 day...
I don’t normally go in for ‘what would you do?’ type of questions but as I have nothing better to do this afternoon, I thought I would! I have a CX70-300 normally on a V3 and have been very pleased for BIF etc etc. I’ve just started doing volunteer photography work for the National Trust here in the UK so I’m using my D750 for ‘quality’ along with the Holy Trinity of 2.8 zooms which I’m fortunate to own - I’d forgotten just what a back-breaker that lot is!! (I may yet try the V3, being...

I have the main clips that populate track 1 (V1). I have other accessory clips scattered on V2. I also have Titles in V3. There are various musics and voice in Audio tracks A1, A2 and A3. Sometimes, I want to select all the clips in V1 only, but not other tracks so I can move them forwards or backwards. Right now I have to select ALL, then painfully unselect others clips to do it. It is tedious, painful and error prompt. Is there a way to select by track in Premiere? Thanks.
I am sorting through focusing challenges with my V3. My most recent is a failure to focus of a face while the face was locked-in. The yellow square surrounded the face, but the face was obviously not in focus. I took multiple autofocus pictures and could not get the face in focus. I closely watched the yellow square to see if it was moving off the face, but it was surely remaining on the face. I have two images attached. One is the image from autofocus, where the face was locked-in via...
