Hi I have a Panasonic G6 body, my rec camera, and an Oly EM10, my at work camera. My normal lens for the G6 is the V1 14-140 which I find to be extremely useful and it is a good fit for the G6 body. The EM10 has a Pana 12-60 which has been quite functional. The 14-140 is a bit of a handful on the EM10, even with the half case attached. As well I have a Pan 20/1.7 and 42.5/1.7 which move from body to body as needed. Ok, one of the things I notice is that I have not seen any sign of shutter...

Hello! So as I continue my quest for improving my setup, I was calibrating my monitors again and this time selected V4. To my surprise the results are VERY different from V2.Photos look darker or with more Contrast and punchier. I need to double check but it seems to look more like what my print results are at least contrast and black/shadows areas are. This is Windows 10 64 bits with an Nvidia GTX 980ti card and it has the same effect either on my main Sony 43" X800D 4k tv or my side Dell...

Hi. Has anyone else using the latest version of Windows 10 Bullguard Internet Security (17.0.328.2) had a problem with it choking during installation of the latest Metabones firmware updater v2.6? I just downloaded the updater from the Metabones site. It has quarantined a file "kivy.graphics.compiler.pyd" and reports "Trojan.Generic.20046873" on scanning the exe of the installer. I've contacted Bullguard technical support, but it'll probably take them a day or two to respond. Thanks.

I'm looking to upgrade from my Nikon 1 V2. The most challenging shooting situation I regularly face is taking videos and pictures (emphasis on videos) at my daughters' gymnastics competitions. They are indoors with mediocre lighting, and to photograph a vault or tumbling at just the right moment needs fast shutter. I'm not happy with the faster lens options on the Nikon 1, so I'm considering switching to the Panasonic G7. I thought to pick that one because it's said to be great for video...

Hi Everyone, First and foremost, this forum have been awesome! Thanks! I have been a silent reader and been trying to find an answer for a travel/zoom lens. Currently I am using a Nikon D3200 and I have the Tokina 11-16mm v2, Nikon 35mm prime and the Nikon 18-55mm kit lens. I've been reading about the zoom lens and so far most of it have been leaning to the Nikon 28-300mm lens. My main purpose for a zoom lens is for the distant tourist spots that I can capture which my other lens can't. The...

I was reading the Fuji website and it mentions the V2.00 update for the X-Pro2's AF. Does this make it exactly equal to the X-T2 for demanding AF situations like continuous action photography? I'm not yet a Fuji owner, but very interested, and until I saw the above reference, I had thought that the X-T2 had a superior AF system to the X-Pro2.

Upon first looks at my new Lumix GX8 (with body firmware v2.2) i noticed the menu Flash options were greyed-out, obviously because this camera has no on-camera pop-up flash unit. However my attention was raised when i then attached either of my two external flash units to the hot-shoe of the GX8 (a Panasonic FL360 & Nissin i40) and i saw that the 'Flash' menu appeared correctly as one would expect, however the sub-menu items 'Firing Mode' and 'Wireless' remain greyed-out, meaning one cannot...

I need to update the firmware of my K1. The version I have is No.1. Do I have to update V2 and V3 and V4 separately or can I go straight to V4? Thanks

I read in the A99ii brochure that the camera uses "14 bit RAW" v2.3 or something like that. Is there any existing software that can open these files? (possibly because it's the same format as some other e-mount camera)? p.s. I'm not considering the obvious choice: http://support.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/imsoft/Win/rcc/us.html
