Hi all I've just bought a new E-M1 to complement my M10 mkII. I've got the latest firmware on both and yesterday I did some test shots with both using my 14-150 v2 and 75-300. Both are set up the same and the shots were taken at the same time. I was very surprised that the M1 jpgs are not as sharp as the ones from the M10 ii. It's more apparent when looking at the pics full size but even side by side the difference is clear. I was expecting them to at least be the same, or perhaps the M1 to...
Hello. Warning this will be long. However this is my first post to this forum, so I should perhaps start by introducing my self. I am a hobby photographer from Sweden, shooting mostly family and travel/vacation photos. I do this mainly with my favorite Nikon 1 combo, the J5 and the 10-100 lens. But I also own a V2 and various other Nikon 1 lenses. I postprocess very little, but non the less, I like to shoot RAW. My normal workflow is to import the the photos from the camera/memory card to my...
Hi everybody, I am new of this forum, so probably the question has been asked before. I have been a strong back problem, preventing me in the last years to go out and take pictures. Actually I am still suffering, but I looking for better future. I have a lot of Canon stuff, 6D/80D, 100-400 mk ii, 100 macro etc, but they are too heavy for me now. I tried with the panasonic fz200 (possibly + TC), the image quality, was not in pair with the canon dsrls, but acceptable. However I could not be...
I have spent the last hour searching thru forum post on the subject of using the Nikon 1 series with the FT1 adaptor and a Kenko Pro TC 1.4 (or others). Sometimes there is a mention of no AF with the V2-FT1-TC, other times there is not. Many of these posts went back to 2013 however. So my question is; using the latest firmware on everything, and the latest Kenko TCs, is it possible to achieve any kind of AF with either the V2-CX70-300, or the FT1-DX 70-300? Thanks in advance, --Rube

Just wondering if anyone has luck using that combo or any other Godox flash for that matter. I own the RX100 V1 and was considering getting V2 only to be able to add flash for some tiny yet high quality camera system. This is noy my main system at all but a nice easy to carry setup for those times when you want to be super light. For that reason I am not spending the money needed for a used III or newer..basically its either V2 or stay with the...

So I own RX100 v1 and have been thinking on getting II mainly because of being able to use a small flash like the Godox 350s and what is supposed to be better high ISO performance but the information I am finding is conflicting. Some claim that V1 actually has better IQ.So, I am guessing many members here have had a chance to try them out and can share some feedback please. And now, I am not going with any higher version..its either I or II. This will see very limited use so I am not spending...
Nikon AF-P DX Nikkor 70-300mm F4.5-6.3G VR, it sounds interesting, especially on a N1 camera. Great reach, sharp, cheap (cheap build too, but for the price. . . ) Graham turned me on to it on another tread. But : Is it compatible with the N1 V2 with the FT1 adaptor? --Rube
