I have a battery grip attached to both my main (EOS 90D) and backup camera (the D90). A week ago, I had an issue where I had just one battery in the compartment, and on one side it does not register. It works completely fine on the other side. I tried using two batteries after that. The battery in slot worked but once that was drained, the second still wouldn't register unless I swapped the two. My guess is there's an issue with the contacts? Maybe? Any things I should look out for or advice...
Hello all Just wondering if you can help at all. I have a Nikon FE2 with three lenses and a Nikon D90 with two lenses and am looking for a camera bag that will hold all of this. I have a rucksack but want something more like a messenger bag which would be able to fit the above (maybe just two lenses with the FE2). I am looking for something secondhand and not too pricey! Thanks a lot!
Any thoughts appreciated. I am an enthusiast currently using a d90. I have a few fx lenses that I have purchased over the years. I would like to upgrade and was looking at the full frame 750 or the dx 500. I know that the 750 has been officially discontinued but I am considering used for both at a price around $1K for either and they are both excellent or like new. I probably will not purchase another body and really wasn't looking to spend in the $2K area. With said, would the 750 be in...
I am new to this forum so hello I've been looking to buy a battery grip for my Nikon D90 (basically putting a battery grip on all the dslr's I have), and I've searched online. Any recommendations from someone who was gone through a similar experience? So far I've been told to avoid the Phottix ones, and I should be looking to Zeikos(?). Also, has anyone had experience with Meike's grip? Cheers from the Philippines!
Hello all, I currently use a rather old Nikon D90 with a macro lense, the AF-S Micro Nikkor 60mm f/2.8 G ED. While it's great for flowers and larger insects, I'm unable to get the level of detail I'd like for smaller insects. I can't afford to buy a new camera or macro lense at the moment, but I've heard about the Raynox snap on lens in 250. Does anyone have any experience using the Raynox 250 on a 60mm macro lense? Will I be able to achieve greater details and magnification? Any help of...
Hi - something wrong with my camera - this large dark patch has appeared in the top left of photos from my D90. Changing lens hasn't made a difference and it is not visible through the viewfinder, only on live view and photos. Looks too large to be dirt... any ideas what the issue may be? thanks
I’m looking for help identifying a DSLR mystery cable. One end has three male RGB RCA connectors. The other end is a 10-pin square(ish) connector with a notch on one side. See images. When I first glanced at the connector I incorrectly assumed it was a Nikon MC-DC2 connector that fits the accessory terminal (for example on a D90 or D750), but that has 8 pins and the notch is on the opposite side. I feel certain this is a connector for one of my cameras but can’t figure it out, even after much...
I am still using my D90, and it's still going strong. Something I have always noticed is that very often in closeup photos, in particular with flowers, the purple colors tend to come out blue rather than purple. I am not sure what settings I need to change to correct that. Even when I post process in Photoshop, I still can't get the exact purple color of the flower without changing the real color of something else. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
