I’ve been shooting Nikon for the past few years. Having previously shot with the D750, D850, and currently the Z6. Our kids are active in sports and I’ve found the Tamron 70-200 G2 invaluable, particularly for indoor sports where the gym lighting ranges from bad to awful. I’m about this close to moving over to Sony. Particularly the a7r iii. I miss the crop-ability of the D850, but not the bulk and I love EVF. The a7r iii is in my price range. Most other lenses that I want are affordable as...

Hi everyone, I am new here, my first post. I am having issues with newly bought Sigma 85mm f/1.4 Art lens. The lens was heavily front focusing on the central focus point but even more on the outer points on my Nikon D850. As you assume, calibrating dock didn't help much as calibrating for the central focus point still leaves the front focusing problem on the outer focusing points. I have read about this exact problem from other people, but no solution. So here is my question, before I waste...
I think I might have a bad D850 copy and need a 2nd opinion. I've been shooting the D500 for about 2 years and absolutely love it. My keep rate is 90%+. I took my brand new D850 out and came back with a 0% keep rate. Same settings as my D500, with the exception of the full frame image size on the D850 I thought I might of had front or back focus issues so I did a little test, 1st with live view and then with view finder. I don't think it exhibits front of back focus issues, but the sharpness...
Please help. In Photoshoot menu HDR is shown as ON and this is also displayed in the viewfinder. Pressing the right side of the multi selector moves the ON word from the left side to the right side of the display in the photoshoot display and vice versa. However I cannot select Off and it continues to display as ON in the Viewfinder. I have removed the battery in an effort to reset but no luck.
Hi, First, I'm not a native English speaker so sorry for any mistakes. Second, I really need help with a new camera backpack which will be used for a day trip. It should be able to carry water, food and jacket. Gear: Nikon D850, tripod, filters and accessories. Lenses: 20mm, 50mm, 70-200mm or 150-600mm (only one will bne taken each trip). I'm struggling between the following packs: *Manfrotto Pro Light Bumblebee-230 *Lowepro ProTactic 450 AW II *Lowepro Whistler Backpack 450 / 350 AW *TARION...
C1 recognizes my camera, takes pictures, loads them into C1 but the "Camera Focus" tool does not work, i.e. it won't focus the camera. The controls are greyed out. I had the camera set up for back button focus, I turned that off, still no focus through C1. Any suggestions appreciated. D850 works fine if that matters. Also I have the camera plugged into the USB C port on the Fuji to USB A into desktop. --Paul Amicucci
Hey DP Reviewers.I recently had my Nikon D850 repaired by an authorized repair shop & now I am noticing lots of noise at fairly low ISO settings. I had a tiny, but distinct purple mark on every single photo taken with my D850. It was not the lens, as the marks would appear despite which lens I used. I tried the camera's own Image Sensor Cleaning from the setup menu, using a dust blower, and bringing the camera for professional sensor cleaning. Nothing worked. I then had the camera repaired...

Hello Nikon and DPReview Community! I have a Sigma 85mm 1.4 Art lens that requires an AF Fine Tuning of +20 on my D850. I just bought a Tamron 35mm 1.4, and my D850 thinks both lenses are the same. The Tamron 35mm doesn't really need any fine tuning, so it's rear-focusing because the D850 thinks it's the Sigma 85mm and applying the +20 fine tuning. The D850 won't let me create a new AF fine tune profile for the 35mm because it thinks it's the 85mm which already has a profile. I deleted the...
