So here is my situation: I shoot with Nikon D3500 and I'm pretty satisfied with it. It does require careful post-processing and effort to find the most efficient settings for shooting, but the results that come from that small camera are really pleasant. For a while I came to idea to purchase one more the same body. That might sound strange to someone, but my reasoning is simple: over having backup body, I will have opportunity to walk with two lenses on, which will help, as I tend to switch...
Hello, I recently discovered my dad's old film camera (it's a Nikon F75) with a Nikon AF Nikkor 28-100 mm lenses. I tried putting the lenses on my dslr Nikon D3500 but the pictures were coming out really blurry .. Is there a way I can use the old lenses on my DSLR ?
I'm relatively inexperienced in photography, so any help would be much appreciated. In high school photo classes I used a Minolta Srt-(???) SLR. I came into some different lenses for it, but it malfunctioned before I had the chance to really try them out (repairing it was not in my budget, until after the rise of digital; would still love to get it working again, but I digress...) I recently purchased a Nikon D3500 to start getting back into it, still learning the ins and outs of the camera...
Hi all, I purchased a new D3500 a few months ago having traded up from my faithful D40. One of the reasons I made the switch was to have better autofocus, as the D40 only had 3 "points", but I've had more issues with the D3500 than I could have imagined and am considering not even keeping it at this point. All issues are with the fully auto version of AF -- if I select the focus point and let the camera focus, it's ok. Am I doing something wrong, do I have a faulty unit, or do I just need a...
I'm looking for some advice when selecting equipment for an industrial camera system. The current system works OK, but I had to slow down the ISO due to the low light and moving parts. My plan was to upgrade the D3500 to a D750 and add an extra Savage LED-SB light without a color gel. I have a $10,000 budget for 3 cameras and 9 lights (front, back, & side images). Should I consider any different equipment? I want to take pictures of each part on a paint line and run it through an...

Hi all. I have my first camera Nikon D3500 and looking to get old (may be soviet) wide angle lenses to use with an adapter to get grips with landscapes photography before investing in better equipment. But am lost in different models choice. Can anyone recommend anything to look for a budget around $150 and approx comparison to modern lenses models in images quality? Your advice much appreciated!
Hello, After some help! I'm taking some photos of children at my toddler group tomorrow, I have a Nikon d3500, I have a white baack drop and there's only 1 small window in the town hall. I have 2 soft boxes. Can anyone advise me on what settings I should set my camera too? I didn't want to shoot on auto unless I have too! Thanks in advance Abby
