In Mikedigi's recent thread Challenging the FZ330 in a murky interior there is a side conversation about cases but I thought it might be worthwhile to start a new thread dedicated to the question of cases specifically for the FZ300/330. I started out with the Amazon Basics Holster Camera Case for DSLR Cameras but it was much too bulky - not really a "walkaround" case. After reading Mike's comments about ditching the lens hood, I discovered that the FZ300 fits in the Case Logic DCB-304 that I...
Hello, Like you, I have a lot of pictures stored on my computer. Do you know how to find the photos which were taken with a specific camera? I have (or had) a G11, D40, D90, P7800, P7100, V1, D7100, D3300, D7200, etc. How can I find on my HD all the pictures shot with my V1? I have PS CS6 with Bridge, DxO 11, NXD. Do these programs allow to sort pictures by camera? Thanks in advance! --Andréhttp://a.barelier.free.fr/
Hi guys, I got a cheap WA converter with a 52mm adapter tube for my P7100 and the camera won't focus properly through the lens and I always get the edge of the adapter tube in the corners when not zoomed-in, so it kinda beats the purpose if I have to zoom to get a proper picture. example - no lens, just adapter tube Am I doing something wrong, or was everything cheap for a reason? :) Cheers!

Hi I'm a newcomer, and have got a used Nikon Coolpix P7100. Can anyone advise me? I'm using Aperture Priority, and I know that 1/2 pressing the shutter button locks the Focus........but does it also lock the Exposure at the same time? Or do I need to use the AE-L / AF-L button as well ? It would seem fiddly to be 1/2 pressing the shutter button to lock focus...while at the same time pressing the AE-L / AF-L button. Or is it best to use Exposure Compensation dial while 1/2 pressing the...
Hello everyone Been sometime since I've posted in this forum - my 7100 hasn't had much use in recent times through no fault of its own, I've tended to use my N1 stuff much more. However (and I confess to being a GAS sufferer!) there are times when, despite being a fan of the N1 system, a SINGLE camera without a bunch of even lightweight lenses would be preferable. The P7100 produces (as you all know) great IQ and I've managed to resist GAS and the P7800 to date - but as the prices are really...
I am confused with what I read about Nikon batteries and third party products. I have a P7100 and a D5200 both with the latest F/W. They both use EN-EL14 and the two batteries work fine on either camera as expected. 1. I am looking to buy a spare battery to act as a spare for both cams and I find EN-EL14 and EN-EL14a (Amazon) What is the difference between the two and which one should I go for? 2. Are there any third party batteries (proven to work on the above cams) that you can recommend as...
My sb-400 works perfectly with my P7100 and P7800, but it doesn't work at all with my new P7000. I bought the P7000 from keh. Actually I bought a P7000 in EX+ and the sb-400 didn't work with it so I sent it back. This one is the replacement also in EX+ and the sb-400 doesn't work with it either. Neither does my sb-600 or sb-300 all of which work with my other Nikons and should work with the P7000. I'll contact keh on Monday, but I was hoping someone here could help.

Hi Longer time lurker here, but first time poster. I suspect this has been asked and answered, but so far I haven't found an answer. I've been using LR 4.4 for some time. Still very much in learning mode.I also have the Photoshop Elements and Premier elements bundle, but do not use them much. I've a new Sony a6000 which isn't supported by LR 4 and it's time to bite the LR 5 upgrade bullet. So .. I can upgrade to perpetual LR 5 license for $79 US, or I can by the $9.99 subscription. What...
